These self locking folding brackets are very strong and impressive. Very heavy duty but easy to install. Highly recommend.

The 'zrfgbxim 4 Pcs Folding Brackets, Self Locking Hinges, 90 Degree with Screws' arrived in a plain box.The concept of these hinges is good but I found two issues when used for a fold up shelf, and suspect it will be an issue in many other cases where two brackets are to be used together.The first issue is that these brackets really need to be 'handed', as pairs, so one is for the left and one is for the right, rather than all the same. As when folding a shelf down from in front, one button can be operated with ease but the other necessitates fumbling around under the shelf, with the risk of the hand becoming trapped if the shelf drops. With both buttons on the outside one hand can provide support for the shelf whilst each button is operated.This brings up the second issue which because the release mechanism is on the outside and therefore could be easily knocked, there needs to be something to put behind the button to stop it being pressed.Due to these issues I have only given a 3 star rating.

Son perfectas para un bricolaje en madera, que en mi caso, fue una tabla abatible que hace función de pequeña extensión de mesa-barra para poner bebidas y picoteo.Lo único, es muy importante no forzar el mecanismo para abrir y cerrar el mismo, pues se puede dañar tanto este, como sus anclajes a la madera

Lose, aber vollkommen ausreichend, in einem neutralen Karton verpackt, hierin die 4 zrfgbxim Klappscharnier mit 40 Spax-Schrauben (Abb. 1).Verarbeitung und Material konnten bei einem Stückpreis von gerade mal rund 2,50 € absolut überzeugen (Abb. 2 – 4).Der Klappmechanismus funktioniert einwandfrei und rasten bei der 90 Grad Position sofort ein und der Entriegelungsbolzen springt nach außen (Abb. 3) und muss zur Entriegelung einfach wieder nach innen gedrückt.Die ganze Ausführung ist sehr massiv und auch für schwerere Lasten durchaus geeignet.Die Gesamtfunktion birgt nur ein Handicap.Hat man zwei Scharniere im Einsatz, was ja üblich ist, müssen letztlich zur Entriegelung beide Entriegelungsbolzen gedrückt werden, ggf. sogar nahezu gleichzeitig.Bei dem Preis von gerade mal 2,50 € kann man jetzt natürlich keine Paarweise Ausführung erwarten, also ein Scharnier mit linken, und ein Scharnier mit rechtem Entriegelungsbolzen.Somit wäre ggf. ein Entriegelungsbolzen nicht einfach von der Außenseite zu erreichen.Dies sollte man bei der Planung und vorgesehenen Verwendung unbedingt berücksichtigenZusammenfassung:Für den Stückpreis von nicht mal 2,50 €, inklusiv der erforderlichen Spax-Schrauben, bei dieser Verarbeitungs- und Materialqualität, ein absolut mehr als nur faires Angebot und verdient dicke 5 Sterne.Bei einer geplanten Verwendung sollte aber über das angesprochene Handicap nachgedacht werden, sonst droht nach der Montage ggf. eine unpraktische Handhabung.
