It worked good on the dog and the cat. No issues. It is just over priced compared to other brands.

A brush with release button makes less mess when grooming my cats than a traditional brush because the hair comes off cleanly in a mat. They love to be brushed often so this is great to have on hand and makes me more likely to do it. It a win for all of us! Note: You can get the same brush for a lot less from other sellers. This was a delightful tool to use. I've been using those gloves with the nubs, which work pretty well, but it's hard to pick the hair out of it when you're done. This is super easy to get all the hair out. You just push the button to get it all out. The brush does grab a good bit of hair & the cat doesn't seem to mind it any more than the gloves.

This is a nice cat brush and is easy to use and clean with the button you push to get all the hair off the bristles. I have a couple cats with different types of hair and it did work better on one than the other. I just like that it's easier to clean than having to try and pull the hair out of the bristles so often.
