Great colors & customization - 100% Buy!
Bought these to add accent lighting under my entertainment center. After several months of use, I'm genuinely impressed with the overall quality and plan to purchase more for different areas in our home. The biggest standout is color quality. I've owned cheaper LED strips over the years and the difference is noticeable. I also love that you can use AI on the app to create different color ways. For example: World Cup Soccer is on and we change the lights to match our favorite team playing. Even the plain white looks really clean - see video. Brightness is also EXCELLENT - these do not look like cheap lights by any means. Installation was straightforward and took all but 10 minutes. Just make sure you have an outlet that's easily accessible. My biggest complaint is the app. Though it offers an incredible amount of customization, scenes, and effects, the interface can feel overwhelming at first. This would not deter me from purchasing this again - these lights are a 100% buy!

Excellent Product (sorry for the overly detailed review)
Excellent product. Easy to install and configure with its own app. Very good brightness. In fact, I usually have it set to 25%. Mine is mounted in an aluminum channel with diffuser on the outside of my kitchen cabinets. This is the channel I used: https://amzn.to/4bxrhFc however, you can still see individual LEDs through the diffuser. I haven’t been able to integrate with SmartThings hub yet. Several attempts, still trying. But, the product app has some automated on/off based on time and sunrise/sundown. It did integrate well with Alexa… almost too well. As soon as I hooked it up, Alexa started talking to me that it found a new device and bam! Integrated. I do like that there is a feature where you can select what happens when you kill and reapply the power. For example with a light switch. It can remember its prior settings or default to a specific setting/scene. Lots of choices as far as solid color and animated scenes. Presets as well as completely customizable. Many options which can take a while to figure out. I like that once you find a setting that you like you can set it as a favorite which makes it easier to recall it. There is also a feature where it can respond to music through either a built in microphone or by being aware of what’s playing on the phone. Not cheap, but a good value when you consider the LED light strip comes with a power supply and controller. Very impressive product.

Don't buy to use with PC controlled software
Update: Govee saw my review and offered me a full refund. I didn't expect or ask for it. That's top tier customer service. Changing my review from 2 star to 5. Leaving my thoughts about the product though so other can be informed. Negigitve: Purchased to use with my signalrgb rgb setup and these strips are very delayed to everything else govee I have which is extremely disappointing since they are currently the most expensive strip govee makes. Hopefully firmware updates will fix this in the future but as of right now these have worse latency than even the cheapest rgb strips in my setup which are nearly instantly responsive. Positive: the strip is very bright and color accurate. The strips stick to the wall almost to well (they will peal your paint). Givee has one of the best apps and software integration of any rgb product. 2 stars because what I spent $60 on feels like a waste of money since the delay makes the strip unusable for what I purchased it for. Might return but worried about sending back a product that is full of paint and having to repaint where the strip is currently.

Super Bright, but Pricey – Great If You’re All-In on Govee
I’ve been using the Govee RGBIC Strip Light 2 Pro, and honestly, the brightness is where it really shines—literally. It’s one of the brightest LED strips I’ve tried, second only to the Govee COB lights in my book. At 32.8 feet, it covers a lot of space, and even on full power, the light is strong and vibrant across the whole length. If you’re going for that bold, room-filling glow, especially in bigger rooms or dark setups, these definitely deliver. The Wi-Fi control works smoothly, and syncing with the app was easy, which made adjusting colors and effects a breeze. That said, I do think these are on the pricier side, especially if you’re buying multiple rolls or need longer runs. I didn’t test the Lumen Blend feature with DreamView since I didn’t set that up, but from what I know, it’s supposed to help with smoother gradients and less banding—maybe something to try later. Even without that, the colors pop and change instantly, which is fun for music sync or movie nights. I just wish the price tag felt a bit friendlier for how much you’re paying. Still, the quality feels solid, and the brightness alone might be worth it for people who want that “wow” factor. Overall, I’m really happy with these lights. I’m a big fan of Govee’s products in general—the app’s user-friendly, and the lights just work well day-to-day. If you’re already into their ecosystem or want something super bright and customizable, these are a solid pick.

Clean Look with Tons of Effects
I recently got the Govee Strip Light 2 Pro and I’m really impressed. The lights look absolutely insane, super vibrant and they make my whole setup stand out. There are tons of effects and scenes to choose from, so you can easily match whatever vibe you want. Installation was quick and easy, and the adhesive holds very well. The quality feels great overall, especially for the price. Definitely recommend if you want something that looks clean but also fun.

Best light strip on the market
Extremely bright. Adhesive isn’t the best but it never is, I got some stickier stuff. Works well with Matter. Would buy again

The best quality lights and easy to setup
Bought these over the Govee diffuser cover strips (YouTube vid showed that these pro lights are better) and put them under Muzata diffuser covers which was also purchased on Amazon. Couldn’t be happier with the color output, smoothness, and app customization. The 32 ft version comes as 2x 16 ft strips that connect/daisy chain together for full flow effect. But beware that there is a slight hotspot at the point of that connection which is my only gripe.

Includes No Warning That Any Parts You Cut Will No Work
I did a wholllllllllle lotta research (literally WEEKS) finding the absolutely perfect LED light strip for the back of my headboard for my new bed. This one had everything I was looking for, in the shortest length I could find. Versatility and compatibility, right? I only needed 55 inches, so before I even ordered these, I realized I could use what was leftover on the ends to run down the sides of the headboard. This is what researching ahead of time did for me, so don’t make the same mistake I did: I measured out the 55 inches with the ends hanging off (easier to make sure they’re close to being the same size), then I cut the ends off. Sometime within the next minute or two, it slowly dawned on me that the 55-inch strip and the other end had no way to be plugged in. To be clear, t̳h̳e̳r̳e̳ i̳s̳ n̳o̳ w̳a̳r̳n̳i̳n̳g̳ - n̳o̳t̳ e̳v̳e̳n̳ a̳ m̳e̳n̳t̳i̳o̳n̳ - i̳n̳ t̳h̳e̳ u̳s̳e̳r̳ m̳a̳n̳u̳a̳l̳ t̳h̳a̳t̳ A̳N̳Y̳ l̳e̳n̳g̳t̳h̳ o̳f̳ l̳i̳g̳h̳t̳s̳ t̳h̳a̳t̳ y̳o̳u̳ c̳u̳t̳ w̳i̳l̳l̳ b̳e̳ u̳s̳e̳l̳e̳s̳s̳. I effectively left myself only 3 inches of lights for a 55-inch headboard, which was the end with the pins that plug into the power adapter. I felt completely stupid, helpless, and heartbroken while being in disbelief that this wasn’t included in the manual; I even reread it again. I mean, it has cut points about once every foot or two, so at 6.56 inches, that equates to 4-6 cut points. That’s *A LOT* of potential waste if you don’t know what you’re doing, which I surely thought I did. Sure, that makes it highly customizable, but 50 bucks is a pretty big ask for 6 feet of LED lights if whatever section you cut off can’t be reused. If you know you’re not going to use all of the strip, measure out what you will use from the pins on back, THEN make your cut. I opened a ticket through their app about what could be done. Their reply is the attached photo. I went from feeling heartbroken, foolish, and helpless to furious. Cared more about how they’re doing in the field of customer service than what they could do to help me, likely failing to pick up on the irony. This was my first Govee purchase, and with that, my last.

Great LEDs and Great Software
Great ambient lighting for my table. It is bright and I love the app as it’s really easy to pair with other govee products.

Expensive, but worth it if you can get them on sale.
Superb lights, but unless they are on sale, they are overpriced. With Govee you are not only paying for a quality light product, but you are paying for the Govee app and ecosystem which is next to none. These are currently their best traditional LED strip lights. At 60 leds per meter, animations are smooth, and can be made seamless when paired with spotless diffuser channels like the Muzata U108, or the U109 (if they ever come to Canada). I also appreciate the dedicated cool and warm white LEDs that provide vastly better whites than can be achieved by RGB alone. They can be cut short or connected to a second strip. I have also read that, with a little work, they are compatible with a wled controller, but that is not something I have tried. Maybe one day. In the Govee line they are only exceeded by the exceptional, and even more expensive, COB lights. I have purchased three of these over the last year which is proof of my appreciation.

Big upgrade!
The Light Strip 2 Pro is a big step up. The colors are much smoother, and the warm-white range makes every color way more adjustable and natural-looking. When you put it side-by-side with the earlier models, the difference is obvious. It’s also Matter-compatible, which just makes the whole setup easier and more future-proof. This is definitely my new go-to strip—no question.

Like it
So far so good. Only issue is that the soldered junctions makes them hard to solderlessly connect.
