Well this was a surprise
I purchased this to see if I could get some relief from my plantar fascitis. If you've ever had it, you know you want to scream when you put your foot on the floor first thing in the morning. I have to say I've been surprised at how well this has worked. I can't use the criss-cross strap as it makes it too tight and I have yet to use the spiked ball. The pads that go under your arch during the day really cut down on the amount of pain. Since using this, I rarely have a morning where I have that instant pain when getting out of bed. If you're screaming like I was, give this a try. What do you have to lose except the pain?

Design flaws cause new problems
At first, I thought I loved this, because it's cute and not too bulky and it did keep my foot in a position which stopped the painful contraction of plantar fasciitis I was experiencing if I even sat down on the couch for a while. Sadly, within a few days the device caused it's own foot pain. I've ordered something else and can't wait to get rid of this one. The problem is that the front fastener has a bulky binding that ends up under the ball of your foot when you velcro it on. The strap pulls against it all night causing a painful compression spot. (Even worse if you toddle to the bathroom without taking it off first -- and it's complicated to put on and off.) Additionally, because the part around the front of your foot is soft, the sides are pulled together like a sling. It's hard to position it so that it does not flare up Morton's Neuroma, it you have a history of that. It is also starting to cause a painful condition on the outside of my little toe nail -- an area I never had a problem with before. (I've tried positioning it further back, but it always shifts in my sleep and I'm waking up several times during the night to readjust it.) I also had to remove the metal boning after the first night because, despite the thick pad, I got and incredibly painful compression mark on the top of my foot. It went away after a couple hours, but ouch! Fortunately, the device still works without the boning. I'm going to try a night splint with support in the back instead.

Meh-
So bought to help out with plantar pain. It is very difficult to get used to- its kind of hard to position correctly and when you wear at night and have to get up to go to bathroom- its a nogo! The ball is great to exercise your foot muscle and the arch supports are nice- if you can get used to it, it would be great, I just can't get used to the splint

Helped reduce pain and comfortable to wear
The splint is easy to use and comfortable. The velcro straps can easily be adjusted to fit your desired support and foot flex needs. The velcro used for the straps is super strong and doesn't let go it's grip, which is great for when it is worn during sleep. I preferred the splint over a boot because the splint made easier for me to move my foot when turning in bed. I don't even feel it on when sleeping. I've been using the splint for almost a month and I have reduced pain when first walking in the morning, where before I had intense pain from the plantar fasciitis.

Don't waste your money! No Support!
A total waste of money. I read some of the reviews and thought "I really need something at night that isn't bulky" like the splint I have that was given to me 20 years ago for plantar fasciitis. And since 20 years have passed, I figured there must have been some improvements made. So I tried this one. Big mistake! A total waste of money. It does not stay on my foot. It has a 1 inch very thin metal bar that is in the top of the splint to keep you foot in position, along with the foot and ankle straps. As the straps in in place it pulls the bar like a tent, thus NO SUPPORT. I have a women's size 8 foot. The ball of my foot keeps falling out of the splint. I followed the instructions as shown. it does not work. As a nurse, I do NOT recommend this product.

Wasn’t what I expected
I got to good uses out of this. Please be careful when washing both hand and machine. The material changes and it’s hard to reassemble.

2nd best thing I've bought for my ankles!
I've fractured both of my ankles on multiple occasions, the last time was March 2021 and was the worst one, fractured both of them at the same time they did not heal correctly and now I have to use a cane for long walking times (grocery shopping is what I consider a long walking time) whenever I could make my ankles be in a 90° position they felt slightly better but I didn't have a way to make that happen until I bought this brace. It helps so much, it is uncomfortable sometimes but that's just because it's doing it's job. I haven't found a need for the spikey ball, or the green pads but I absolutely feel this is worth every penny and I plan on ordering a 2nd one.

It really helps!
This has made such a difference since I got it just over a month ago. I wear it at bedtime until I wake up sometime in the middle of the night. I was able to walk 20,000 steps a day in NYC last week, and felt no pain.I also love using the little spiky ball on a day when I’ve worn bad shoes and need a little extra help.If you’re just starting to struggle with plantar fasciitis, act now and get this rig!
