I bought this size for filling with small amounts of peanut butter and jelly from the big jars they come in, for condiments like mayo and mustard, and for storing lemon juice and small amounts of broth in the freezer. The item description states : " 4 Ounce Wide Mouth Jars with Lid". These are not wide mouth jars. See my picture. The jar on the left is what I received. I tried to put some peanut butter in one and it was so messy because it's not a wide mouth. I could have purchased the regular mouth anywhere locally for a lot less money. They look nice and are obviously durable, but I am disappointed that they are just regular mouth jars.

These are very tiny but very cute, with perfectly sealing lids and bands that look great. Nothing dented. I will use these for small batches of jam, and storage of spices. Just wish they actually stacked properly.Only issue - my first order from Amazon was shipped in a padded envelope - of course every single jar arrived broken. After contacting Amazon customer service, they replaced them within a day and shipped them in a box instead.

These are nice quality mason jars but don't expect to be able to do much with them. They're very small given that its only 4oz. I would say the best use for these would be if you need to bring some salad dressing to work or a sauce. Other than that, I don't think there's much else you could use these for.
