One of my favorite features is that it has a great sound system and connects to YouTube, giving me access to thousands of karaoke songs for free. Overall, it’s portable, convenient, and a lot of fun. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great all-in-one karaoke machine!

A highly portable, sleek yet powerful karaoke machine. I was skeptical of the quality considering the Shell S1 promises a lot of features - Premium sound bar, long lasting battery, an android tablet, 2 respectable wireless microphones, ability to display on your TV via HDMI or casting (if you're able to figure out how to install apps), ability to use 3.5mm AUX to output sound to a larger speaker, ability to plug in a 3rd mic or a guitar, the ability to use a USB C OTG connection to directly record to your phone/PC. That said, it lives up to the promises, at least for the week I have had the chance to test it out. The Shell 1 easily fills a fairly large room with ample punch that will not feel lacking (unless you are an audiophile). If you do need more punch (perhaps larger outdoor party or a particularly serious Karaoke session, you can use the AUX out and HDMI to use an external speaker and screen. Or perhaps you will want to go with the larger Break series... For me the Shell S1 was the perfect balance of sleek portability and raw power. I was torn on picking the Break X2 but the extra power isn't worth the not so immaterial loss in convenience and portability. And I could always use another speaker if I really needed to. I should note the Break X2 also has the ability to add a 4th mic/2nd guitar, has a memory card slot, and is IPX4 water resistant, while the Shell S1 is not. But the Shell S1 has an OTG port to let you record directly to your phone/pc that the Break X1 doesn't. And I really don't think I'd use the Break's memory card slot, or 4th mic port enough to justify it. I was nervous about the tablet speed. I had the feeling using the browser version of YouTube was going to be extremely slow and clunky. Don't get me wrong, it isn't blazing fast, but honestly it wasn't too bad. A 1 or 2 sec lag to load sometimes, nothing too crazy, but generally moves pretty smoothly. I'd be willing to spend $20 more if that significantly sped things up but if it cost any more than that to produce super fast load times, I don't think it's worth it. It's not perfect of course. You kinda have to know what your doing if you want to install other apps, and they won't all be compatible. I wish I could choose to send audio through the HDMI connection. I wish it could natively cast its screen so I didn't have to download a clunky app. I wish I could use bluetooth to connect it to other speakers instead of just AUX. The tablet isn't blazing fast... But honestly I really can't complain about any shortcomings. For me the Shell S1 was virtually perfect. Any lower model wouldn't have the sound quality I want, and the Break series would sacrifice on portability more than I'd want to for the amount of additional performance. And I could probably use an expensive external speaker that is better than all of them if I really needed to with AUX. The only final test is durability (it feels very well built), and if they continue to support it with software updates. But so far I highly recommend the Shell S1. Beautiful looking device, super portable, solid performance, highly functional. 5/5 Stars at this point.

I bought this gift as a birthday present for my mother-in-law. I had three requirements for this device. First, it had to be simple to use. Second it work well and sound good. Last thing was it had to be compact because they don’t have a lot of space to store things. Giving this five stars because it exceeded every single one of my requirements. First, it was very easy to use. I did not want to be tech-support for this gift. And I did not want to receive a call every time they wanted to use it. Fortunately, the product has everything integrated into it. It has an integrated tablet, integrated speakers. The wireless and charging system is super easy to use integrated as well. I performed the set up for them which basically consisted of connecting it to the Wi-Fi and setting up the karaoke app karafun. I created an account for them and it comes with a free six month subscription. After that, the only optional connection you need to make would be to connect the device to a big screen TV. This is done by simply connecting an HDMI cable from karaoke machine to the TV. The karaoke machine does not come with an HDMI cable so I would suggest making sure that you purchase a long HDMI cable. I recommend a 12 to 15 foot cable. The karafun app is very easy to use. you simply search for a song and then either hit play now or add it to the queue and it will play as soon as the previous song is done. The app has a huge list of songs. We were surprised that even some obscure songs were listed. The android tablet that’s built-in is very easy to use and is a touchscreen. The only criticism I would have is that it is a little unresponsive at times. A touchscreen interface has a performance that would be on par with a very cheap android tablet. However, it is very usable and did not take away from the experience of using the karaoke machine. Second, and most surprisingly was how good the sound out of this machine was. They have a large living room and they do a lot of entertaining, and it can get very boisterous with lots of people having side conversations. However, the volume and the quality of the sound of the mic and the speakers was able to fill the room. The only time I got any feedback from the Mike was when I accidentally set it down right next to the speaker. Otherwise we got a clear consistent sound, and you’re able to adjust the volume on the mic itself. My father-in-law was a musician also commented on how good the mic and the speakers sounded. Lastly, everything can be stored inside the machine, and it is very compact and easy for them to put away. They do not have to haul around a big speaker system. They can even take it with them when they go camping. All in all, it was a huge hit for her birthday and I am very happy with the purchase.

Sooooo awesome and fun!!!. Great quality sound. I love that it is an all in one and portable. You can also easily connect it to your TV via HDMI. I have poor wifi in my house so it can get glitchy, but we then just played the music and words through our TV and used the mic and speaker to sing. Did I say the sound is amazing!!!! My only wish is that there was a remote to control it. If you are using this device solely, you will consistently have to use the touch screen with your fingers to search and select a song. It can get tricky unless you have someone that just sits by it consistently as a designated job LOL! The price is reasonable for what you get, the colors are fun. I love that the mics charge themselves directly in the doc. Speaking for charging. Be sure to plug the USB C cable in the port that is outlined in RED...also it does not come with a electric brick...but so dont most phones or electronic devices now a days. No biggie I have many for our cell phones. I am super happy with this purchase and will probably purchase a couple move during Christmas

What a machine!! We have a blast...literally. It comes out for every occasion. We use it 2-3 times per week. Weekends are truly a party at our house. The sound quality is AMAZING. 🎶 My grown adult kids come around more! Ikarao outdid themselves with this one. A powerhouse! I love how the lyrics can go up on the big screen TV. Portable, we have taken it to venues, parties, outdoors, and it will be coming with us on vacation. Don't let the small size fool you. The bass is incredible and the sound, crystal clear and LOUD with multiple settings. Added a lot of fun to our lives. Ikarao knocked it out of the park with the Shell 1. 💙💙💙🎶

Setting up this karaoke machine was simple and everything needed is included, from the two wireless microphones to the cables and remote. The system delivers impressive sound thanks to its 280W amplifier and 2+2 channel speakers, filling our living room with clear music and vocals. I really like the 10.1-inch screen that shows the lyrics, and the colorful LED lights add a fun party atmosphere when we sing. Pairing it with my phone via Bluetooth is quick, and it streams songs smoothly with no lag. The microphones have individual volume controls and built0 built-in echo effects, so everyone can adjust their vocals to sound their best. It000s sturdy yet portable with a handle and built01in wheels, and the battery life lasted through an entire evening of entertainment.

I’m loving it so far, very fun. It has built in YouTube and the visuals look like high quality. Just plug it in and you can start right away. The user interface is easy to use and understand that a kid could use it. The sound projects nicely and the mics are well built. I’ve been using it for the past few weeks for parties and such and it is definitely a crowd favorite.

First the positives. It's compact and easy to store. I love that you can tuck the microphones away IN it. And the speaker sound, OMG, it's absolutely fantastic! However... It did not seem to meet the minimum standard of what a good karaoke machine should be. The microphones, while compact, can only capture sound from the top and only at close proximity (this will be a nightmare if you are even slightly germophobic). For the price, I expected a more receptive microphone, better at least than the $70 cheap machine we won at a party. The controls were even more frustrating. Once you've started "karaoke-ing", the only access you have is volume. Cause what if you wanted more reverb? Or treble? Or try the sound options offered such as "professional" or "cartoon?" The only way to do that is to stop the song and press the back button to get to the master control. Better be right with your choice this time, because you'll need a few seconds to reconnect again to the bluetooth. Wrong choice, then you'll have to restart the whole process. Finally, the heart of the karaoke which is the "singing" part. If you have a singer's voice, then no machine, tacky or extortionate, can stop you from shining. But for the most of us, this is WHY we love karaoke. It's supposed to, even so slightly, make us sound better. I've always wondered whether a "reverb" or "echo" made singing better. The Ikarao answered it for me, it's definitely ECHO, a feature, unfortunately, it does NOT have. Now if you do speaking gigs with the occasional karaoke, this may be the best machine for you. If you do karaoke more though and need some voice "enhancements", then maybe not.

Einfache Inbetriebnahme, perfekt fkt. Funkmikrophone, sogar drittes an Aux mögl. Der Klang ist sehr kraftvoll, Anlagenkopplung nur bei öffentl. Auftritten nötig. Per HDMI einfach an den TV anschließen und den Bildschirmtext bequemer ablesen als ma Touchscreen. Die App Karafun (6 Mon. kostenlos) mit 50.000 Songs ist auch sehr gut ansonsten z.B. per Bluetooth mit dem Handy koppeln. Much Fun !

This machine is pricey but worth it. Compact ( but heavy) with amazing sound for a small unit. Super easy to use. The screen is a good size for older eyes. Overall, I would highly recommend this to Karaoke fans!
