Borrowing key design elements from the retro TARTHERâ„¢ sneaker, the TIGER RUNNERâ„¢ shoe replicates the look of jogging footwear that was popular in the 80s with a refined twist. Formulated with an 80s inspired racing flat design, this shoe's simple formation blends synthetic leather and mesh paneling on the upper with a low-profile midsole that's cushioned and comfortable. Formed with heritage components inspired by the jogging craze in the 20th century, the TIGER RUNNERâ„¢ shoe pays homage to archived ASICS classics with timeless designs.

My fourth pair
After years and years of trying to find the "perfect" daily sneaker I decided to try these. 2 years / 4 pairs later I can say these are the winners. Super comfortable, light, and excellent back support. I tried switching it up, but couldn't find a reason to - they're that good.

Very Narrow
Looked good but way way to narrow for any normal foot. The color was more grey than I expected. The front logo and back logo are a different color gold/orange and the side color was not as expected.I would have kept them if I could handle 1/4 of my whole foot and toe hanging over the side, which would have been horrible. Might be good if you have very very narrow feet.

Wonderful Value
I am a long time Onitsuka Tiger customer, but they are no longer selling their shoes new in the US since November '23. Also, my favorite line of theirs (the Serrano) has been discontinued anyway, so it was time to try something new. Asics seemed to be the most obvious choice, since they are Onitsuka's parent company, and they share a lot of the same design cues.I purchased a pair of these in Size 12 and I could not be happier. They fit me perfectly, and have been extremely comfortable since the very first time I put them on. No break in period necessary. I immediately started working out in them with no issues, walking distance, etc. They look great, feel very well made, and are extremely comfortable. Time will tell how well they hold up (I beat my sneakers up BAD), but they seem to be every bit as well made as their Onitsuka brethren were, if not better. One of the things that quickly impressed me was how comfortable they are with my very wide (read: fat) feet. Most shoes I buy, if I can't get them in a "Wide" size, they crush my feet. Even the Onitsukas I had were pretty tight width wise, even at the same size. Both Onitsuka and Asics have a narrow look to them, but the Asics had no problem accepting my foot without crushing it to oblivion. Possibly the most comfortable "day one" (pre-break-in) sneaker I've ever worn. I have a pair of Adidas high tops that I use for basketball that appear much bigger/wider than these Asics, but the Asics are head and shoulders above them Adidas in the width comfort department. This is a HUGE selling point for me.Overall extremely impressed and will likely be back for more. 5 stars are deserved in all categories other than "support", and that's only because these are low top running shoes... they aren't exactly built for high ankle support or anything like that. These are about as supportive as they look... no complaint, just not the reason to buy them.

Fantastic
I was looking for a low profile runner after my Ultimate 81's wore out, these are a great fit if your looking for a low profile runner with a retro look. Would, and probably will, buy again.
