LeapFrog Chat and Count Emoji Phone

Bought this for my son at about age 1 1/2 it's a very good interactive type of toy it talks to him would get him to recognize numbers and learn some words on his own it's very good quality the screen is nice and bright the numbers And all of it are very clean and can definitely withstand the roughness of a toddler

Excellent phone. Has lasted a while when most don't. And my child has thrown it a lot. It has great learning activities for numbers, counting etc. Sound is great. Not too loud and it does have a low volume also. Cute color.

Twin 1 year old love this phone. This phone is the most used out of many other toy phones. Perfect size for reenactment and is a perfect learning toy as well.

My daughter is obsessed with my iPhone, and always wants it when I'm trying to talk on the phone. We got her the Chat and Count phone for Christmas, hoping she would like it just as much. I should have known better. Given the choice, she still tries for my iPhone every time...! Actually, all kidding aside, the phone is nice. Each button makes a noise, and the number pressed shows up on the screen. Scout says the number, and counts that number of a particular item (shoes, flowers, puppy biscuits, etc.). Sometimes Scout comes on and sings a song. Overall, my daughter does actually like it, and it keeps her entertained for short periods at home and longer periods in the car when she can't drop it and move on to something else. There are two volume settings (in addition to off) on the side, which was a nice feature until she learned how to move that switch herself. Now, it's either off of on high (low is in the middle, which she NEVER stops at!). It's a good size. It was a tiny bit big for her to hold with one hand when she first got it at 10 months old, but she could hold it with both hands without a problem. It's been 4 months and she can now hold it up to her ear with one hand. It has survived being dropped constantly, and still works like it did on day 1. We have not had to change the batteries yet either. The reason I'm taking my rating down 1 star is because of the screen. The screen is plastic, and it was scratched up immediately from being dropped and pushed around on the floor. I wouldn't expect it to stay perfect with a toddler, but more than an hour would have been nice. Also, the animations are only in black and the screen itself is somewhat dark and doesn't light up, so it is a little hard to see unless you're in direct light. However, you really can't expect much better or different given that it's built for kids, and is relatively inexpensive. And she still likes it and plays with it, so I can't ask for much more. I would have no reservations about buying this again or giving one as a gift.

My grandson loves this toy, and it's teaching him his numbers while he's pretending to talk a great distraction from my cell phone 😉 the volume is great it comes with batteries in it. The different lights holds his attention as well he only 10 months he'll have this for a while to learn.

1year old and 3 year old love this. It’s cute, has 2 volume settings, and has been dropped many times-works just fine!

All my kids love this thing. But perfect for a 1-3 year old! Not super annoying like some noisy baby toys. Great gift for the price!

Not much to do for the child, only 3 clips, 2-3 musics, not worth the money charged for sure. Much better options available. Avoid!
