J’ai acheté cette orthèse car je souffre d’une tendinite de De Quervain à la main droite. J’en avais déjà une pour le pouce uniquement, mais il me fallait cette fois un modèle qui maintienne aussi le poignet. Franchement, je suis très satisfaite : le maintien est vraiment bon, à la fois au poignet et au pouce, et il est facile à régler. Mon poignet est bien soulagé dès la première utilisation. À voir sur la durée pour la qualité, mais pour l’instant, c’est un avis « à chaud » très positif. Si jamais ça se dégrade, je viendrai mettre à jour mon commentaire.

È arrivato imballato bene, subito l'ho messo e devo dire che dopo 4 ore non da fastidio e aiuta molto a riposare pollice e polso che nel mio caso con sindrome de quervain è perfetto.

I have bought five different types of braces for my de Quervains Tenosynovitis and multiple longitudinal tears in both the tendons leading from my thumb to my wrist, in both hands. None of them have been worth a hoot. This one however, is THE one and I'm buying one for the right side. The other ones didn't provide enough mobilization of my thumb and covered the majority of my palm. This one barely covers my palm, which keeps things cleaner and more sanitary. It has two metal supports along side the thumb that keeps it from moving. This allows me to use my hand without hurting or damaging my wrist. I also love the material. It's more like a sports type of fabric. It's not thick and doesn't hold moisture in, like the others. The others lead to sweaty palms and they need to be washed daily to prevent smell. This one just needs wiped off or rinsed and it drys quickly. The pull tab makes it simple to take on and off, another plus!! I also like the rubber piece on the palm area. Another big plus for me is that I am very tiny. I have very small wrists and it's challenging to find the correct fit, even when ordering a small. All of the other ones left a gap that allowed my thumb to move. They also went too far up my forearm. This one fits perfectly on my tiny wrists and hands. It hits just enough below the wrist to keep it immobile. It's very comfortable to wear. All of this has lead to less pain and more hand mobility. So I'm giving this one a five star rating!!! They have a repeat customer now, for all of my bracing needs!!
