This putty with little characters is fantastic! The texture is smooth and has more of a 'silly putty' feel rather than the typical slime, making it easy for little hands to squish and mold. My kids absolutely loved it! The addition of the character pieces is a wonderful touch, providing a fun fine-motor activity as they pick out the little sea creature figures. The themed characters are super appealing and really engage the kids’ imaginations. This putty kept them entertained for hours, and I couldn’t be happier with it. Highly recommend for playtime fun! Comes with a nice tin container to keep it in!

My 3.5 year olds were very excited to open this putty and look through the charms. They played with it for a little while, but did require close supervision because they kept calling the putty "gooey" as they pulled strands of it up into the air and dropped some on the floor. It definitely stained my white socks (after falling on the floor), but It came out of their Khaki shorts. They did seem a bit frustrated that they couldn't get the gems out or cleaned easily after being placed in the putty, but they are young and I am fine motor or sensory expert, so I plan to ask our Occupational Therapist at our next appointment.Separate from the quality of the putty, the tin storage container is cute and fun, but could be improved by being stackable (we have multiple "themes"/colors of this putty that I wish I could stack up on a shelf). I was able to fit the charms and the putty back into the plastic tub inside the tin storage container, but it was a tight fit.

I bought this slime for one of my kids at work who loves to play with sensory toys, but I ended up using it more than he did! The slime is tough and digging the charms out of it requires quite a bit of work so I would recommend this for either older kids or kids who will concentrate a little more to get the charms out. That being said, it is fun and keeps the kids busy. I just think it would be better for older individuals.

first of all I do have to say that I didn’t know that there was putty for therapy, but since my three year-old needed a little bit more muscular tone, he told us that therapy was really good for him, and I have to say it has worked wonders he doesn’t get tired that much while drawing or doing any activities with his hands and he feels happier while doing so in my case I do believe that’s a win. The only thing I really advise parents. It’s to keep away from blue jeans since if they place it on it’s really hard to get off. that doesn’t have to do with anything with the product itself because the product is amazing.

The blue putty is very sticky so it gets stuck in the crevices of the charms and sticks to my kids fingers. We spent more time trying to clean the charms than taking the charms out of the putty.

This Soft Resistance construction putty from Special Supplies is perfect for any occupational therapist’s tool kit if they work with kids. I have other putty by this brand and agree with the soft rating of the strength for this putty compared to the others as well as to other brands. This putty suffers from the same issue as other soft and extra soft putty in the line as it is extremely sticky. I highly recommend playing with it to reduce sticking to skin and causing undesirable sensory experiences for your littles and ensuring it stays away from clothes and soft fabrics. Overall, this is a nice product with very cute charms. They feel durable and unlikely to crack if dropped from a table.Edit: this putty is too sticky. It’s getting stuck to charms and my students were frustrated by it. I added cornstarch to help but it does make the resistance harder. Really cute product though and I will use the charms with other putties from this brand as I've had better luck with their general therapy putty products and save the putty for a sticky sensory experience.
