I wavered a bit between which NEWNEN Mosaic Mushroom Table Lamp to order but settled on the coloured glass.It's not too small and not so big that it dominates and is a decent weight. Great that it charges via a USB lead so you can have the light anywhere.I was a little disappointed with the effect when lit, the light is not distributed through the whole of the lamp, just the stalk and the cap only from above. Although there are different colour options, set by tapping the side or top, I prefer the white light that shows the coloured glass at its best, the other colours are more patchy overall. As with most touch lamps, you can't change the position of the lamp without it changing colour or turning on/off. There is an off/on button underneath the base though.I'm not sure that I would pay almost £40 for it, though my husband thought that it might cost a little more, different people's perceptions. I think it will look quite attractive on a hall table as the colours with the warm white light are quite cosy.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this lamp, and was very pleasantly surprised. It is a nice size - enough to make a statement on a coffee, hallway or bedside table, but not so big that it takes over the space. It is quite heavy, and has a very pretty glass mosaic layer around the whole mushroom.As it is rechargeable, it can be placed anywhere, and is not dependent on a power socket, which is a bonus. It also changes colour at a tap either on the lamp itself on on the table next to it, cycling through warm white, green, red and purple. The whole effect is really striking. Also, I discovered quite by accident that when the sun shines through it, it creates a very attractive pattern on the wall and tabletop even when it is switched off.The charge is long lasting - I have been lighting the lamp up every evening since it arrived, and have not had to recharge it yet.Overall, I am very happy with this lamp. It is a real statement piece that fits in with any decor, and although it is not cheap, I do think the price is not unreasonable for a very pretty lamp.

This is a bedside lamp with low key soothing light effect. Perfect for soft light when winding down at night.Looks really pretty when on, runs via USB so very easy to set up. You have several options for colour, I find the purple is the nicest.A quirky and creative approach for bedside lighting.
