Buy Alacrity Long Distance 1D 2D Industrial Barcode Scanner, Wireless Charging Cradle, 433Mhz Wireless & Bluetooth Barcode Reader, Shock Dust Proof Hands Free, Blue: Electronics - desertcart.com โ FREE DELIVERY possible on eligible purchases Review: Perfect for Manufacturing Enviroment - I ordered this for my work, as previous scanners we used were getting dropped and breaking. I have not gotten any negative feedback after placing the first one out on the production floor. Within a day, I had two different managers ask for the link to where I ordered the first one because they wanted to buy more for their teams. Would highly recommend for a production environment where its fast paced and something durable is needed. We scan both QR codes and regular barcodes and I was able to deploy this without any programming. Being wireless is also a boost to help with productivity. Review: Great For DL Scanning - THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE FIRST AND ONLY SCANNER I TRIED WITH DL SCANNING! Works perfectly with EZ Online FFL. This is the scanner recommended by EZ Online FFL. It is able to parse a drivers license PDF417 2d code exactly like EZ Online FFL needs it to be parsed: each piece of data (i.e. first name, DL number, etc) is on one line, as opposed to all the data being on one continuous line. I tried four other lower cost (about half or even less money) 2D scanners and they all could READ PDF417 but couldn't parse it into the separate lines needed to make it simpler to actually use the data for filling in a 4473 (or any other form you want to automatically complete. Now I'm not suggesting this would work to fill in ANY form; I'm sure there has to be some set up involved in getting the PDF417 data pieces into the correct box on your form, but it is 100% plug and play with EZ Online FFL. Gosh why didn't I just go with the recommended reader rather than wasting all that time looking for a lower cost alternate? If you need to adjust the angle of the stand, look on the bottom and you will see a tab button at each side panel. push in on one of the tabs to then slide out/off one side panel and you will then see how to tilt the stand by 45* eezy peezy. I suspect 1D barcodes will be much easier to use while working on simplifying inventory tracking, and that is probably where "tab" vs "carriage return" programming will come into play for jumping to the next box or the next item or line for your inventory spreadsheet (or whatever). I am 100% fully satisfied with the 2D performance of this scanner. Now on to figuring out how to get it to make fast work of filling in customer's data on a Form 4 application. I can't speak to it's bluetooth capabilities or the wireless com distance limits. But the base is clearing charging the scanner as it sits there in the cradle and when I pull the scanner out to use the base light turns green showing it is connected via the long distance 433 signal. This is how it was working straight out of the box - truly plug and play.

Work great for my shipping barcodes.
These are a great value. I use them in my store (pack and ship store) for scanning shipping barcodes including 2D QR codes and they are wireless and work great at a long distance. I recommend them compared to others that cost hundreds more.

Really good barcode scanner, it cut down our scan times drastically
I recently bought this barcode scanner because the old one we have is a wired one and it takes too long to scan everything and make sure that everything works properly. I was wishing for a better product for years and I finally bought this item. I love it so far because it is Bluetooth and has a crazy amount of range. I can use it from all the way on the other side and it will still scan. The battery is pretty decent as well and the handle is really ergonomic. Definitely a must buy.

Great product
I've gone at least 100 feet away and works fine. It reads dime size qr codes no problem. The only quirk is black barcodes on brown boxes is a little slow but my warehouse isn't super bright. It reads small light blue on white no problem which my last one didn't read at all. It sends the information to google sheets as fast as you can squeeze the trigger
