Caran D' Ache Chevron Ecridor Silver Plated/Rhodium Coat Chevron 0.7mm Pencil, Large Engraving Space (0004.276)

Please judge for yourself the pencil of 140 dollars price won't last a year for by purchasing it on Dec 2017 I've found it's broken for no mechanical stress, drop or damage reason, just during the regular and (what's mostly disappointing) very accurate use no latter then on the beginning of Nov 2018! Once I found the retracting mechanism is no longer held the lead I tried to look for my warranty but found nary, also figured out this is barely possible to disassemble the pencil. Once I tried out with pliers though just got the eraser holder tube deformed as a result, feeling mad about the whole accident and sick tired of it I've trashed it since found it simply irritating to keep just this 'beautiful' silver plated useless body. In my humble opinion this company and their production is compromised by requesting for a high tall for the piece which is lasting less then most of regular and cheap plastic pencils.

I had been looking for a good mechanical pencil that I would keep forever. This is beautiful and fits in my hand well. Also I love the lead size but I broke the eraser after a few weeks and couldn't use the pencil until I ordered new erasers and waited for them.

This mechanical pencil is like an art, exquisitely made and well balanced. Built like a tank, I am expecting that it will last till I am 90 years old. I used mechanical pencils in my work and this one I am very proud to own.
