I found this product a useful inclusion on my loo, whilst I do feel it could have lasted longer overall I did think the scent was a good level, not overpowering but gave a clean/fresh background smell to the toilet.Despite the product doing the job I don't think this is something I would look to order again due to the plastic nature of the product and lack of reusability - there is no mentions of the recyclability of the plastic which seems wasteful to continually purchase these and create more plastic waste. The ability to purchase the scent parts to refill it would make more sense in my opinion.

So I usually use the Bloo tablets which you stick in the cistern. As great as they are these run out super quick. They must rapidly dissolve as constantly submerged. The advantage of these rim blocks is they last a lot longer. In fact the main bonus of these is the sheer longevity. They sort of dribble cleaner in every time you flush (I will come back to the dribble point). The scent is not too bad and overall it seems to keep the dreaded limescale out of the bit where the water is. The problem is that these are very localised. I can't see how they clean the whole bowel when the flush sweeps a bit of cleaning stuff in a pretty directional way into the water without it swirling around the whole bowel (like the cistern tabs do). The other thing is that placing them where the most flushing water comes out means sticking them around the front of the loo - which they are clearly not designed to do - they just don't sit well on the less thick parts of the rim - and end up sort of sitting there in a somewhat less secure manner and getting in the way. So i just put it around the back in the end where it gets less exposure to the 'flush' and dribbles out rather than cascades. Might be why mine last longer than most. Anyway. A lot of chat about a loo block. Would I buy again - yes. I would say these could be your main friend in the loo - keeping the smells down and the water fresh, Then you could stick a cistern tablet in every now and again for a fuller clean.

I bought these as my toilet has stubborn limescale. I cannot open the cistern as its heavy and has those flush button at the top, so cannot use the tablets you can place inside. I searched for something that can sit on the rim. Amazon offered a few options with this particular one possessing better reviews. I ordered as the price on S & S is cheaper than supermarkets. Packaged well, i really like the fragrance of lemon! I set this on the rim and it worked into the water quick once the toilet was flushed. Over a few days, I found this to be removing limescale, cleaning the toilet and leaving a pleasant scent.Really pleased. Good value.

I usually have the pink ones which smell stronger but these are OK for a change. Two packs lasts a month in our house and there's a fresh smell and it leathers so it leaves a nice layer of bubbles after the flush which lasts until the next flush. Good value, good quality.

Not used these before so only purchased 1 silly me.This is great the scent is quite strong but not overpowering just a lovely citrus smell when walk into bathroom that gets a boost everytime you flush.Easy to attach and seems to have good cleaning power.Just everything about it makes you think it’s working and your toilet is clean and germ free.Amazing price at moment so plan to stock up.Not an exciting product but 1 we all need
