Rooms over our garage suffered from the noise of our 2 Raynor openers. These made quite a reduction. Installation is straight forward, only issue I had was the shaft diameter of the dampener was slightly larger than the holes in the Raynor's metal mounting bracket, so had to grab a drill bit to enlarge them

Purchased these to use with my 18k BTU Mitsubishi mini split unit. I have the mini split wall mounted on the outside of my 24x24 workshop. While the condenser is exceptionally quiet, I found that it produced a resonant vibration in my shop walls. It took me about 15 minutes to add these mounts. I loosened the existing bolts, then lifted one side at a time to slip these in. Everything went very quickly, and was simple to do on my own. The result was exactly what I hope for, the vibration is dramatically reduced, and the resonant tone is gone. Now I can't even hear the outdoor unit unless I press my ear against the wall. Only thing I would wish for out of this product would be stainless steel or galvanized finish. I worry that the zinc plating won't last long in an outdoor environment. However, at this cost I'll be prepared to replace them every 5 to 10 years.
