I got this for PT at home for one of my favorite hand exercises. Digging out charms from the putty. It's for small motor movement skills.This package is great! But if you're expecting your charms to stay clean after placing them into the putty, ha! RIP your charms that are textured. They will not be the same unless you really clean them and probably with a tooth brush.Also you can probably place 2 charms at max into the putty for fishing it out PT exercises. Otherwise it's too easy to dig them out. My Physical Therapist had me place one charm inside each and dig them out and pick off the putty as best as I can for home exercises. I will warn you the softest is like a slime. The firmest one is almost like what they use in PT at softest level.Pro(s): Great Value. Various firmness. Great for PT. Cute charms.Con(s). Charms get gooped up after 1st use.

I’m a pediatric OT and my 4 year old was showing some signs of fatigue during fine motor activities. I bought the medium and he loved it! He played with it for about 45 minutes straight. He said a few times it was challenging but I could see him using his hand muscles which was the goal! He loved the box it came in too which was also a nice little fine motor activity. I highly recommend for a home activity to help young kids with hand strengthening. I already bought a soft for his little sister.

Our OT suggested getting therapeutic putty for our son. This was has been good, and came with manipulatives to work.

Was not 100% sold on it. When adding the small toys into the putty you are not able to get them back out. When you’re not constantly playing with it the product hardens up. My daughter got this product in her hair and we weren’t able to get it out. Had to cut the pierces of hair off.

I love the idea of this putty for the ways it supports OT work and sensory play.BUT ... if your kids plan to bury the charms to pull apart and find, they'll have a hard time getting them clean afterwards. The pink putty sticks to a lot of nooks and crannies.

My grandkids enjoy the sensory putty and my 12 yr old granddaughter enjoyed putty the charms inside.

This stuff is so sticky! I tried to use it with one of my clients and it was so horrible we just gave up. Once you put the beads in you better accept the fact that they will not come out easily. This would stick to clothes and any surface really which does not make it great for using with kids. Overall I would recommend a different brand.
