It takes batteries
My 4 yr old loves it. I tried to find out if it took batteries before buying but found no info. It does take batteries and you need a tiny screwdriver to do it. I hate giving things without batteries. But he played with it without batteries and enjoyed it.

Screws come out easily
Saw my son playing with the truck and then put something up to his mouth he had two of the screws out of the bottom out. Luckily they are super tiny and not sharp but still would not like my child to eat them, Upset he could get them out so easily.
