Because the soil dries out extremely fast it was a chore watering daily. I needed a solution to do the work for me.I hooked these up to a small pump and a timer so I can water my plants along the sunny side of my house.These drip irrigation fittings are doing a great job keeping the plants watered but not over watered.I’m planning on using them to water my seedlings indoors during the winter.

Good hose connector pieces. I used the to setup a drip system for my garden beds and they worked wonderfully. No leaks detected.

These are good quality fittings at a reasonable price BUT as the vendor states that the pipe size meets the specifications for the connection. Now if you do not meet the size specs you may get leaks or you may not get the pipe to go on dependent if it is 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch connection.So for the connection to 1/2 inch poly you need an outside diameter of between 0.60 " - 0.63". For the 1/4 inch tubing, you need a pipe that has an inner diameter of 4mm. I was fortunate to meet these specs. To make it easier to insert the 1/4 inch tubing , warm it up by placing the end of the tubing into a dish of hot water for about 15 seconds. The connector is sized to make it good to handle and to manipulate the nuts to secure the tubing to the connector.Be aware that if you do not need to attach 4 of the 1/4 inch tubings, there are no caps included to attach to the unused openings to stop flow through these openingsAs for durability the manufacturer states that the plastic resists UV rays from sunlight that will deteriorate the plastic.Overall, these are good quality fittings at a good price.
