I’ll never have another pre workout
This is by far the best preworkout for someone with POTS. It does raise my HR slightly but nothing compared to other pre workouts

Decent caffeine-free pre-workout
My husband is the pre-workout supplement guru so I leaned on his assessment of this product. He looks for products that make him feel like a wrought iron wrecking ball in the gym but without feeling coked out (itchy, anxious, can see sounds because your blood is pounding in every cell). Bonus points if you get a good pump, and a little tingle is okay.We were a little skeptical because Gainful has somewhat of a small cult/boutique following online, it seems - "custom" protein powders and mixes that just seem like some mixing and matching rather than truly being taylored to your needs, at a higher than average cost. For example, their protein powders allow you to pick whether you're using for losing weight, building muscle, or gaining mass... it's no different than picking from like Muscle Milk Zero, Pro series, or Gainer, they just have different ratios of fats/carbs/proteins.He really appreciated that these come in individual packets so that you can just throw one in the car or your bag without having to tote around an entire tub of powder, even though that comes at a higher price point per serving for the convenience factor. He rated this a 7/10 which I translated to a 4/5 star rating since we can't give half stars. Favorable points: no bad side effects/jitters/rage, palatable taste, individual packets. Downsides: didn't really get a "pump" or feel way more energized.I suspect it will take a few more gym sessions for a full assessment but his overall impression so far is it tastes OK and didn't have any bad side effects, but it may not be worth the inflated price tag for individual packets if you can't really tell if it makes a difference in your workout.

The taste was surprisingly good, not overly sweet or artificial, and it mixed well
I’ve been on the hunt for a pre-workout that gives me a good boost without feeling jittery or overly hyped up. Gainful intrigued me with its individually packaged servings, which are super convenient—just toss one in your bag and go, no more lugging around a huge tub.I have to say, the taste was surprisingly good, not overly sweet or artificial, and it mixed well. But honestly, I didn’t feel a massive surge of energy or get that pumped-up feeling I usually look for. It gave me a steady, clean energy boost without the weird side effects like tingling or crashing afterward, which is a plus, especially if you’re sensitive to those things. That said, I wasn’t blown away by the results. It’s nice and easy on the system, but I didn't feel like it pushed me to that next level in the gym. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, especially since it didn’t quite deliver that extra oomph I hoped for. I think I’ll keep it around for lighter workout days or when I want something quick and convenient, but it might not replace my go-to pre-workout anytime soon.

Tastes Great But Sub Optimal Dosing
I love a pre workout that doesn't have caffeine or is Stimulant Free which is what this product is. Along with that when they taste great which some preworkouts have trouble with due to the ingredients. The taste is somewhat sour at first but has a distinct sweet aftertaste with each sip. When it comes to dosing only two of the ingredients will have an acute effect that being the citrulline malate and the beta-alanine. Technically speaking its one ingredient that has the immediate effect as I will explain.L-Citrulline DL-Malate 2:1 at 4g per serving. This gives you 2.6 grams of L-citrulline with 1.3 grams of Malic acid. This is a sub effacaious dose of L-Citrulline with 3g being the very bare minimum dose that you need and the max effective dose being 10g. At the very least you should aim for 6g of pure L-Citrulline. Any L-citrulline malate mix isn't pure L-Citrulline its a mix of both so be sure to check how much you're actually getting.Beta-Alanine will have an Acute effect via paresthesia aka the itching/tingling but the real benefits are realzied when your body is loaded on it. To do that you have to take around 180 grams of it across a time of about 28 days. After that's done you get the slight boost in performance in endurance related exercise with the performance difference being 2-3%. The itching/tingling can on a placebo level make you feel more energized which could make you perform better but that would be because of the paresthesia. Furthermore its at 1.5grams per serving with the effective dose in a single serving being 3.2grams.Creatine at 3g per serving. Creatine works amazingly when its been loaded into your system. Taking creatine before a workout will not have a acute effect and having it in this product is more of a convenience. 3g is the minimum effective dose for a maintenance for some people and 5g is the effective dose for maintenance for a lot of people especially if you're taller/heavier.The leucine, valine and isoleucine are just BCAA's which don't have much benefit for muscle building/recovery as we once thought it did. It certainly doesn't have a acute effect on performance before a workout.I would suggest trying one serving and if you're not feeling it which makes sense to double the dose. So you take two packets as you would get that 5g of L-Citrulline and 3.2g of Beta-alanine. For the pricing i would hope for higher dosing or more packets. What I do like with this format is the packaging as its very simple to just grab a packet and dump it while not having a pre-workout tub.

Good Taste and Effective
Meets both of my criteria for a AA complex. Decent spread on AA's and well flavored. Tastes good - not too sweet, not like chemicals - exactly like any other pink lemonade.

convenient product
The pre-workout powder featured a blend of ingredients designed to support workout performance, including creatine, L-Citrulline, Beta-Alanine, and BCAAs. Each serving came in individual packets for easy transport and convenience, eliminating the need to carry a tub of powder. The powder mixed well in water, producing a mild mixed berry flavor that I enjoyed although I found it slightly sweet. It delivered a mild tingling sensation from the Beta-Alanine, but it did not provide the intense energy boost often associated with caffeinated pre-workouts. Overall, this product served as a suitable option for those seeking a stimulant-free pre-workout supplement.
