Most amazing sugar free chocolate milk.
Wow, this product is so cheap. Sorry Walmart, you could never beat this price. It’s like .029 per box. Here’s a good trick for folks who love chocolate milk. Two table spoons of this dry pudding powder, and almond milk. It literally turns into a sugar free chocolate milk, outstanding!!. I use a electric Emulsifier to properly mix it, this drink won’t work without the emulsifier, it is Imperative to have one for this recipe. Guys you won’t be disappointed, it taste so good, without having all the sugar. Milk vitamin D alone, has 12 grams of sugar, before adding regular chocolate. Make sure to buy sugar free almond milk. You can find it anywhere. Good luck, you chocolate milk drinkers.

Nice texture
I just received mine today and made a box this afternoon. I found it to be a delightful treat this evening. I don't normally review products but after reading some comments I felt I should about this product. I personally prefer the thicker texture of this pudding as compare to the other major brand. It also seems smoother/creamier. I found the chocolate taste superb and it kinda lingers on your gums and inner cheeks. As for the value, same size box of other brand locally is$1.49, I get 12 bxs. for $5 and change, a no brainer. I say if you like chocolate pudding, go for it.

Makes two cups
On the front it says "Makes 4 1/2 cup servings". At first I thought it meant that it makes 4 and 1/2 cups per box. And on the back it says to use two boxes for four servings, so I thought you had to use two boxes, but that is just for when making pie filling. One box, two cups of milk make two cups of pudding. But the real proof in the pudding is how long it stays firm until it starts to liquify (refrigerated). About a day or two. The first picture shows the box of 12.

Sugar Free
It's hard to find a dessert that is Sugar-Free (low carb). My husband is diabetic and we watch what kinds of desserts we can have without spiking is blood sugar. This is a fast and easy dessert to make. 2 cups of milk & 15 mins later it's done.I make it with half & half which makes it richer & still low in carbs.I usually buy Jello brand in the store- but decided to try Royal brand. It was just as tasty and half the price.

You get what you pay for.
Super cheap, but lacks a real chocolaty flavor. The kids might enjoy it. It does set quickly and well, (and, again, could be a fun project for the kids to make themselves) but I would suggest just paying the little bit extra and getting Jell-O brand. I did manage to make it a bit more palatable to the adults in this household by adding a heaping tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder (not hot chocolate mix) and a packet of artificial sweetener. I have also added a heaping teaspoon of cinnamon as well, from time to time, to give it a more festive, holiday flavor, which my folk really enjoyed. Both the added cocoa powder and cinnamon change the texture and gelling properties of the pudding, however. The pudding will take longer to set up and be just slightly less firm. You can also detect the grains of cinnamon as they don't dissolve. It doesn't detract for the pudding, in my opinion, but it is noticeable.

Better than Jello-brand
It's been hard to find chocolate sugar-free jello pudding in the pandemic so I thought I would try out the "Royal" brand. Much to my surprise its thick and chocolatey, and a few less calories than the Jello band. I like it BETTER than Jello brand, plus cheaper, so win win! The only drawback is you have to use a mixer instead of just whisking it by hand. If you don't it will be lumpy. This wasn't a deal breaker for me. It's really good!

Flavor was not that great.
I'm not sure if it's the artificial chocolate flavor or the artificial sweetener, but it didn't taste sweet or very much like chocholate pudding. Maybe if it was mixed in a recipe with other ingredients it would have a better flavor, I don't know. I used it to make Freezer Pudding pops and the end result was not that great. Jello Pudding was excellent, more expensive per box, but I guess you get pay for. I'd like to try the sweetened variety and see i
