I bought the ship kite because I was attracted by the colorful design and it quickly arrived at my doorstep. Assembly was a little daunting at first, but I followed the directions and watched the youtube video and after getting it together the first time it no longer seemed so intimidating. The kite is well designed and sturdy. One of the red o rings broke during the first assembly, but customer service (Wei Ivy) was incredibly helpful in trouble shooting. The company was ready to send me a replacement right away, but I was getting ready to leave for a vacation and wanted to bring the kite along, so I asked if there was any other way to fix it. Wei Ivy consulted with the kite makers and they relayed a brilliant solution that was easy and simple and worked like a charm. Thanks for a wonderful kite and a wonderful experience!

Definitely not easy to assemble, you need to put it together indoors because if there is a wind you'll never get it together. The first time I took it apart to put back in bag a very important piece brokenon the kite now trying to figure out how to modify it.The kite did go up quickly and was beautiful in the sky. Held up in a strong wind.

I like this kite a lot. It needs a strong wind. The front sail (spinnaker/jib) seems to make it unstable so the kite works better when I put in the back (bow) of the kite. It’s a favorite of mine and like to take it to the beach. A lot of onlookers like it too.Caveat, it does not travel well. I separate the mast/sails from the hull so it can lie flat and I’ve learned to then put it in a portfolio carrier so parts don’t get broken.

My son loves this kite. After arriving, he couldn’t wait for it to be put together. It comes in a storage bag which is nice but I have to admit, I was worried about the assembly. It was not hard at all. It took maybe 5 minutes at most. It is a great quality kite that is sturdy. Works great and would recommend it.

I bought this kite and a special kite reel for my vacation ahead of time BECAUSE of the price bad idea warranty was out by the time I used it , on the 1st use at south padre Island it was not strong enough for SPI winds but I will say it was awesome for the first 7 to 10 minutes beautiful I was HAPPY then it took a drive into the sand after twirling out of control like it got hit the material was not strong enough there was holes in it all over the place ( NOT FOR STRONG WINDS )

once you figure out how to get it together, flies like a champ, super cool on the beach. lots of folks stopped to take photos of it

We purchased this kite for our 2019 family vacation to Michigan. My husband & I were checking out the place we will be staying & while on beach talked with a family that had one. It was beautiful up in the sky. Thought our grandkids would love one to, so.... Hope it goes together as easily as they showed us, but am sure all will be great!

My son who just turned 12 assembled it and it works really well. Quality product. Great fun in the park or at the beach.
