This is a good looking hob at a very reasonable price-that’s it for the good points.The fuse in the plug is illegal in the UK as it doesn’t comply with BS1363. That doesn’t really matter though as it’s also the wrong rating-it should be 3 amp not 13 amp.There is a plate giving specifications on the side of the hob which states that it is for LPG. No mention of natural gas. There is a set of jets included with the hob that I assume are for converting to NG, but it doesn’t say. However, there are no fittings to convert the gas supply from LPG to one suitable for NG. There is no manufacturers name or hob model number either in the instructions, box or data plate.By law there should be a CE marking to show that it complies with the Gas Appliances (Safety) Regulations 1995 There isn’t a CE marking anywhere, not on the box, product or instructions. Manufacturers selling gas hobs in the UK have to comply with a raft of regulations to help stop them killing people who buy them. There is no mention of complying with any regulation. It doesn’t give any safely advice or state that by law it must be fitted by a Corgi registered engineer.I could go on, but by now I think you understand my concerns. I’m not saying that this hob is dangerous, but I am saying that there is no mention anywhere on anything to do with this hob that it complies with even the most basic requirements to show buyers that it is safe to install in the home.

Bought this for my rental property. And was informed by the gas specialist once installed that it has got not the UK connection, it has got legs so its designed to sit on the worktop, the gas nob take ages to turn on keeps ignition and not turns on for a while.
