So, as unconventional as this is, I used this thumb camera for real time recording with the built in microphone on for a Paranormal Investigation. Let me just tell you, the first thing I love about this camera is that you can set the recordings to loop at any minute increment from 1 to 9 minutes. You do not have to have the app open the entire time. The app is easy to use. Once you set up the camera and app together, it is extremely easy and self explanatory. The camera has its own WiFi network that your phone hooks up to for you to either watch in real time what is happening wherever you have the camera set up or to watch the recordings that it has taken. For the investigation, I chose for the recordings to loop every 9 minutes so that when I went through the footage I wasn’t overwhelmed by one long recording. I could go through each one 9 minutes at a time. The picture and video quality, whether in 1080p, 2k or 4k, are extremely good quality. The mic in the camera is amazing and picks up everything, including things you do not hear at the moment in real time. No lag, you can take a snapshot while recording with the app. The battery life is great when recording in 1080P. When recording in 2k, it’s a little less, and 4k a little less than 2k. The saving grace for the battery life, if it is bothersome for you, is that this camera supports recording while charging!! I used this camera for 18 hours straight, charging it and not charging it all while still recording with no issues! It does get a little warm being run for that long while charging, but it doesn’t get so warm that it’s damaging or anything. Overall, I recommend getting this camera if you like recording things while hiking, climbing, running, driving, or doing a paranormal investigation.

I would like to start off by saying the camera works well for the money and I would recommend it to others.I had an issue with setting up the camera which was my fault and their customer support was EXCELENT!I was helped online by Kevin who stayed engaged throughout the whole process and answered all my questions promptly and throughly.For what you get it’s well worth the money. You get the camera and all the attachments you will need to enjoy its use. I mounted mine to my bike helmet with the provided attachments and am enjoying the videos of my bike journeys.I would recommend this camera to others and would buy this product again.

WOW! its small. But mighty. Comes with soooo much stuff. U can wear it or mount it. Everything u need is in the box. Easy to upload the app and get started. Clear Pic! Even had a waterproof case!I read a review that complained about small buttons,,,false. It has ONE button. Easily accessible. U can see it in the pics.

I like to go to nature trails, kayaking and other outdoor activities. This is really awesome for taking videos while you’re out and about exploring nature and being hands free really comes in handy. The picture quality is really good and the app is super easy to use.

I bought a thumb camera before but I couldn't hang it firmly in front of me because I want to use it to record my child's daily perspective. The child runs around and jumps around, so I need a sturdy camera. This camera is very sturdy. What I like most is that there is software that can save the video directly from the phone, and I can also directly see what my child's perspective is like.

Learning curve, getting the functions to work takes trial and effort. Not as clear as turning on and start.Also the camera not having a light indicator on the side or top doesn't let you know if its shut down or still on, its turned itself off on me twice now.You also need many times to set wifi looking for the camera to set before viewing the video or pics, but once the picture comes up its surprisingly clear.Can't beat the cost for a personal video detector, lots of options comes with this camera, including an underwater case.Only on-line instructions that you have to download.

If this was $40, then this camera would've been easier to accept what I paid for.The video quality is wonky with low bit rate & extreme contrast. The sensor is too light hungry. Think budget android phone camera from 10 years ago. It has a fisheye resolution that captures a very wide angle. Anything not directly centered will be distorted in the image. This is the worse "4K" quality I've ever seen.The app asks for too many permissions that I turn off after adding the camera to the app. You don't need the app for the camera to record, It's to change parameters & for remote viewing via WiFi.It gets stars for the great mounting options & ease of operating. Negative for the video quality & very poor battery life. I'll find something to use it for. It was bought to capture my gym workouts. I'll just buy the Insta 360 Go instead.

I think this is a beautiful device.At their web site: www.sixmou.com/pages/download,the manual and video's are very well done.On my first 4k bike ride, which normally lasts 95 minutes, I only got about 80 minutes begore the battery ran out although I was connected to the app and that does use more power. I plan to use 2k mode in the future. The video quality is great.To get the full 5 stars, I would like to see 15 minute recode time and file journaling to a recovery file so that the data can be recovered after power restore.And iIt would be really outstanding if some of that 4k resolution could be used for software image stabilization to a lower recording resolution.
