OtterBox iPhone 16 Pro Max React Series Case - Clear

Great case and fits well. The phone is comfortable to hold.

Upgrading my iPhone to 16 so looking for a new case. My previous was Otterbox symmetry. This case the React as slim as the slim which I like. The reason I wanted to try the React is because symmetry is made of a softer more elastic plastic. Over time that plastic would turn yellow and lose elasticity making the case very loose.The React is just as slim but made of a harder plastic around the edges. I’m pretty sure this kind will not yellow. However the drawback is the wallet button is very insensitive. When you pay with Apple wallet you have to double click the right button the the edge. The plastic is so hard it makes it very hard to double click. Whereas with the symmetry I never had this problem.I decided to try the React after all because I really dislike it when the symmetry turns yellow and looks very stingy. I’ll see if the plastic loosen up after some time and hopefully the wallet button will be easier to use.

It’s a very minimalistic case that’s probably better at protecting from scratches and daily wear than major drops. It definitely has an appeal in being thin and lightweight considering it doesn’t add too much bulk to your phone.I prefer to use this style of case in the summer time to reduce overheating since there is allot less insulation to trap heat inside than some of the bulkier cases from OtterBox. There isn’t a lot of padding on the corners or “bumpers” which made me a little more careful to avoid dropping this.Still my phone ended falling from the car seat straight onto pavement when I opened the car door. The corner of the case was a tad scratched up, but fortunately I didn’t see any sign of damages on the phone itself.I don’t know how well it would hold up if the phone was to fall screen first, because there is very little lip on the front of the case. Definitely consider applying a decent screen protector if you plan on using this. I still give it a 5/5 only because it does everything I expect from a thin clear case, even though it may not give me total peace of mind.

I had a phone another phone case on, no problems even when it fell. This one, the same day I put it on, the phone broke 🤦‍♀️. The phone case also came a month after the original delivery date. Not worth it.

It’s durable and fits my phone tightly, providing peace of mind that it’s well protected. The clear back allows the beautiful design of my iPhone to shine through, which is a big plus. If the side edges were also clear, it would be absolutely perfect, giving it an even more seamless look. Overall, this case combines style and functionality beautifully.

I bought this otter box case for my new phone, pro max and Its pretty good quality. I saw it was cheaper on here than in person (10$ cheaper) but unfortunately I didn’t acknowledge that the side button to your right on the bottom were the camera button is located, it has no coverage. It literally only covers around it and not the entire screen. Luckily I bought a good quality screen protector but I dropped my phone already and my protector cracked pretty bad from the camera button all the way across my phone and thats because the phone cover doesn’t protect that side of the screen! So definitely going to buy one that fully covers so keep an eye out for that but quality wise is good and if you dont drop your phone often than I guess its worth the purchase but better safe than sorry.
