Decent product
It worked great to replace some window screens the pets had destroyed. They've held up better than the original screens so far. I did end up ordering another roll. I was only able to do three windows. I ended up buying the install kit and was able to do it myself with little struggle.

Nice wire mesh
I used this in the making of a couple quilt boxes for my honey bees. I take a deep box put the wire screen on it then fill it with dry pine shavings . Installed in the hive it sucks up the moisture out of the hive and keeps the hive dry and warm during winter. This mesh is stainless steel it cuts easy with scissors and works perfect for what I use it for. It also would work on window screens of correct size.

Very Strong!
The MSJSZP 20 Mesh 304 Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh is a versatile and durable option for various applications that require a fine mesh screen. Here’s a detailed review of this product:Strengths:Material Quality:304 Stainless Steel: Made from 304 stainless steel, this mesh offers excellent resistance to corrosion, rust, and staining, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor use. This grade of stainless steel is known for its durability and long-lasting performance.Mesh Specification:20 Mesh: The 20 mesh count indicates that there are 20 openings per inch, which provides a fine screen capable of filtering out smaller particles. This makes it suitable for applications requiring precise filtration or screening.Wire Thickness: The wire thickness combined with the mesh size offers a balance between strength and fine filtration. It is sturdy enough to handle mechanical stress while maintaining its filtering capabilities.Dimensions:Size: The roll measures 40 cm by 300 cm (approximately 16 inches by 118 inches), offering a good length for various applications. This size is versatile for use in larger projects or can be cut to fit smaller areas as needed.Flexibility: The mesh is flexible and easy to cut, allowing for customization to fit different sizes and shapes of openings or frames.Versatile Applications:Vent Screens: Ideal for use as a vent screen to prevent insects and debris from entering, making it useful for window screens, HVAC systems, and other ventilation needs.Crafts and DIY Projects: The fine mesh is also suitable for a range of craft and DIY projects, including making jewelry, filtration systems, and artistic applications.Ease of Use:Installation: The mesh is straightforward to work with. It can be easily cut to the desired size and attached to frames or other structures using various methods like stapling or adhesive.Considerations:Mesh Density:Limited Filtration: While the 20 mesh size is fine, it may not be suitable for all types of filtration needs, especially if very fine particles need to be filtered out. For extremely fine filtration, a higher mesh count might be necessary.Handling and Installation:Sharp Edges: The mesh can have sharp edges, which could be a concern during handling and installation. Using gloves and proper tools is advisable to avoid injury and ensure a clean installation.Price Point:Cost: Depending on the supplier, the price might vary. Ensure that the cost is justified by the quality and size of the mesh, especially if purchasing for large-scale projects.Long-Term Durability:Environmental Conditions: While 304 stainless steel is generally durable, in extremely harsh environmental conditions, there may be concerns about long-term performance. For such conditions, consider additional protective measures or higher grades of stainless steel.Overall:The MSJSZP 20 Mesh 304 Stainless Steel Woven Wire Mesh is a high-quality, durable option suitable for a variety of applications. Its stainless steel construction ensures resistance to corrosion, while the 20 mesh count provides fine filtration capabilities. The roll size offers flexibility for various projects, and the material’s ease of use makes it a practical choice for both professional and DIY applications. If your project requires precise filtration with a balance of strength and fine mesh, this product is a solid choice. Just be mindful of handling and installation considerations, and assess whether the mesh density meets your specific needs.

Works for now
My basement has small windows that open to the inside. I have to replace the mesh screen on one of the windows several times a year due to mice trying to get in from outside. Even though the window’s closed, they still chew holes in the screen (see photos). I’m hoping this wire mesh will solve this problem. The wire mesh is harder to cut to size than regular mesh but it’s still manageable. I tried using a metal shear but a sharp pair of scissors worked better. The actual installation procedure is the same as with regular mesh – measure and cut, then press the rubber spline using a rollerknife into groves in the frame to secure the mesh. I couldn’t stretch the metal screen as easily as the regular screen but the installation still turned out reasonably well. BTW, watch out for sharp edges when handling the metal screen; the wire edges are sharp. I was punctured multiple times. It hurts. In retrospect, I should have worn gloves. The metal screen has been installed for around 3 weeks now, and still no holes. By spring, I’ll have a better idea of whether this worked. But so far so good.

Perfect to keep flying termites out, not for structural use ... see why
Yes, this is made of 300-series stainless steel, I tested it, so if you install it correctly you'll never have to worry about it again - it will not corrode in normal use. And the holes are the perfect size to make a flying termite think it can make it through, but then trap it so it never gets in. However, the wire used is very thin, so installation is going to matter.Either you are going to crumple this screen material up to fill a void, or you are going to apply it to a structurally sound surface that can help it hold its shape. I was concerned about crawl space venting and roof vents. These vents are already in place and have screen to keep rats and squirrels out, but termites can come in freely. I cut material (you can use a good scissor that you don't mind will go bad, or get some tin ships (airplane snips) at the big box store or here at Amazon) oversize for the interior. Then I put some beads of good quality silicone around the perimeter and press the screen into it. I use a magnet to hold the screen in place as the silicone cures (the magnet pulls through the screen to the existing steel mesh), then I come back to complete the silicone bead where I skipped it before, and smash it through this stainless steel mesh. When the silicone cures it holds the mesh in place and seals out any termites that may try to bypass this screen. Problem solved.Do take care, rough-cut edges of this screen have numerous cut wires poking out that are eager to pierce your skin. Wear tough gloves you would use for working with roses or blackberries. Hem the edges before siliconing this mesh down as described above.I hope my experience has helped in your shopping decision.

As described. Good for pest exclusion + DIY projects
This stainless mesh is great for exterior projects. The steel is non magnetic and so far has proven to be corrosion resistant in exposed areas. I used this mesh to create a panel to keep chipmunks out of a hollow wooden column. But this mesh is likely not fine enough to keep out no-see-ums and similar tiny insects.
