There are flaws but over all good camera
I have 4 different cameras from Eufy (4) S3 , (2) Solo cam s340 and the latest editions for Christmas (1) video doorbell e340 and (1) eufy cam S4. I'm waiting for snow and mud to go away to mount (2) new S4 which I got for my Birthday. Which is relevant since I got to interact with customer service. Also a Eufy tablet I find easy enogh to use my in laws are still baffled. All cameras are maxed out as far as video recording time, highest detection settings, fastest turn around time to start recording. S3 is a good stationary camera very clear picture. It says 40ft and it sometimes catches and records that far out but I would stick to 25-30 max. 2 of the S3 are hooked up to the larger solar panel because they are out of sunlight other 2 are using the built in solar panel. They are set to color videos at night. The one on our porch catches 99+ videos a day because we smoke out there. Unfortunately during the Pittsburgh winter it has struggled a bit. It does a noble job of trying but I have taken to turning it off and back on when we smoke. Really we dont need that in video anyway. The rest of the S3 cameras catch a average of 20 videos a day 2 of them barely get 1/2 hour sun in the winter a day and are fine. The Solo cam S340 is a very nice camera both of these are maxed out as far as length of video turn around time for restarting video clip set to color at night. This camera does not have a anti theft option for some reason. One on the opposite side of our front porch from the S3 so it follows packages delivered to the door. The other is on our back deck. Same issue on the porch as the S3 99+ views a day fine in the summer Pittsburgh winter left it drained much quicker than the S3. I just turn it off when we're going out to smoke. I'm not sure what the range is supposed to be on these cameras but picks movement up 40ft away. Its tracking ability is good both manually and on its own. It can seem a bit sluggish while manually guiding it where you want to see. I'm also very impatient. It can do a complete 360 n up n down. The doorbell camera is again a good video quality since it is wired in no battery problems. My complaint with it is the package delivery alert. Everything is a package some days. A leaf, a shadow a chair other days it's fine. Otherwise doorbell hooked up easily can be connected to the door chime already installed its not since I don't wanna. The last one is the S4. The S4 has the advantage of the stationary and the mobile and yes it is a advantage. One camera aimed in one direction one in the other. Movement is sensed it zoomes in and starts tracking. 2 movements in opposite directions we haven't had a chance to try yet. Very good day or night this is the only camera still set to black and white at night. The images are still good but I need to change it. I found with the other cameras it's even better in color. Other than stationary top lense and the mobile bottom it is pretty much the same as the S340 the mobile bottom can do a 360 up and down this camera does have a anti theft alert. It also picks up movement 35ft away. It stays with that movement way past that. All of the cameras can zoom in on a image the S340 and S4 will zoom in and out on there own while recording to better focus. You can still zoom in after pictures are clear on all of them. All of these cameras have live view and you are able to talk to the individual through the cameras. Something my in laws a re still baffled by. It's mostly clear when speaking back and forth. All except the doorbell and the S340 have a anti theft that alerts you and sets off a siren when it is messed with. Keep that in mind if you need to adjust your camera after setting it up. Nothing like being on a latter and having your camera unexpectedly scream at you. They all have activity zone capability which I use on 2 cameras the S4 especially since it is convinced my mother in laws mailbox is a human. Easy to set up once I realized what's in the blue is what it is going to pick up movement in. We have the Homebase S380 at both houses. At our house we added memory because we are outside a lot more, packages, the S340 picks up everyone who walks by basically without the extra memory I was having to erase it every week or so. My in laws the doorbell camera and S4 pick up about 8-10 videos a day. So no extra memory needed. I'm not thrilled with the identity it does really good at identifying people: Myself and my husband neighbors etc. Then it will go off the rails. For the past week just about everyone including me has been identified as my neighbor. I removed him from the list of known people so now it is slowly getting the known names correct but it's not like my neighbor looks even close to me my husband or my 7mo old Granddaughter. Usually it's fine but this is the second time it's gone off the rails for identifying people. All of the cameras can have the alerts silant for different amounts of time or turn the camera off. Different alert sounds for different cameras are handy for knowing which camera is picking up motion. They all confuse wild animals with domestic pets but honestly I like watching the fox and deer and rabbits. My nighbors have asked me repeatedly about the fox and remind me share the videos which is as easy as downloading and texting or emailing. Mounting all of these cameras easy. The hardest part is finding where you can maximize sun if your camera is in a really high traffic area like our 2 porch ones. Wasn't a issue in the summer but winter here is ugh. The app is pretty easy to use. I get frustrated turning the two cameras off when I'm pressing the gear to get to the settings and nothing happens but I'm not sure if that is the app or my phone. Once you have your cameras set up on your app you can share it. So my cameras are on my phone my tablet and my husband's tablet. The doorbell camera and the S4 are actually set up at my inlaws house. We set it up on my father in laws phone and a Eufy tablet and he shared with me so now they are grouped in on my app with my cameras. Not going to lie it is nice being able to know they are safe. That late night knock on the door? Got a alert and when my father in law answered I was already up out my door and almost to my car watching a live view of the doorbell camera while the salesman was giving his pitch. My husband was right behind me calling there house. Fortunately it was just that but what salesman is out at 7:30 at night? We live right down the road it still gives us peace of mind. You can't use these like a NVR set up. They are battery/solar panel and running them 24 hr will drain them faster than having the app run in the background drained my old phone. The video is from the front porch S3 Oh the S340 and S3 all record in color at night without the spotlight being visible. My S3 in my backyard I left the spotlight on. Doorbell lights up when recording at night the S4 is still in black and white at night. We used a compact CCTV mounting bracket to mount the S4 so that it can capture more of the house. Worked out very well. Now customer service. Eufy gave me a discount for my birthday. I ordered (2) S4 realized I messed up how I was paying panicking I cancelled the order. Discount code gone. I emailed Eufy they emailed back to put the order in they would reimburse me me the difference. This was the only solution they would offer. I tried to call but was unable to get ahold of a human. I am one of the first people to scream in frustration at automated systems. This was actually pleasant and informative. I put the order in. The money was refunded back to my card within a day. They followed up in the email to make sure I got the correct amount that the order was to my satisfaction if there was anything else they could do. I did not actually speak to another human but they did resolve my own self made issue quickly and effectively.

Hands-down, best security cameras on the market!
I couldnโt be happier with my Eufy S3 Pro cameras. The 4K video quality is incredibly sharp, even at night, and the color night vision is a total game-changer. Setup was super easy โ I had them up and running in under 15 minutes with no wires and no hassle. The solar panel keeps them charged effortlessly, even in partly cloudy weather. What really stands out is the AI-powered detection. It accurately distinguishes people, vehicles, and animals, so I only get alerts that matter โ no more unnecessary notifications. The two-way audio is crisp and clear, and I love being able to check in remotely from anywhere with the Eufy app. No monthly fees, no data being sent to the cloud unless I want it โ just solid, reliable security. If youโre looking for smart cameras with excellent quality, strong battery life, and true peace of mind, the S3 Pro is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

Very sharp clear images from these cameras. The night time color images are unbelievably good. Super easy setup.

ZERO customer service and technical support - 1 defective camera in kit
Defective camera and ZERO customer service. I ordered the 4-camera kit with the S3 Pro camera and homebase unit. The kit arrived on July 14th. 1 of the 4 cameras was defective upon removal from the original box it was shipped in. The camera would power on, however it wouldn't connect with the homebase. I verified it was completely charged, and went through all of the troubleshooting suggestions from the manufacturer. The 1 camera still would not connect to the homebase. The other 3 cameras work flawlessly, have a great picture, and connected directly to the homebase unit without any issues. The quality of the working cameras would have received 5 stars to be honest. However, with 1 of the cameras being completely defective, I attempted to troubleshoot the issue with the manufacturer's web site. I wasn't able to get the camera to work, so I tried to contact the manufacturer by telephone. I received a message that said "Our call volume is too high, please use our web site." I then tried to use the online chat support tool on their website. After messaging with the chat application, they informed me "this is going to require a conversation with our technical support team." They recommened I send an email to the technical support team. I sent the first email on July 15th. I will say on a positive note, they were initially quick to respond to the email, however it quickly became a massive headache to deal with the manufacturer. Over the course of the next week, I exchanged emails back and forth with their technical support team 10 times! Each time, they would ask for something different. After multiple emails back and forth, they even began requesting the same information I had supplied in the original email communication. The final frustration was the email I received a week later that reads (copied/pasted from their technical support team): Your package will undergo a thorough inspection once it arrives at our facility. This is to ensure that the contents of the package are confirmed and match your return request. Any replacement process will only commence after the inspection is completed and the contents of the package are verified. We strive to process all returns as quickly as possible, and we will keep you updated on the status of your request. I understand the need to resolve a technical issue, however this company is awful. It would have been so much easier and faster for me to have returned the item directly to Amazon and get a new kit sent out. I didn't feel this was an amazon issue however, it was only a manufacturer defect. Again, I will applaud the quality of the working cameras, the night color vision is excellent. However, if you can't rely on support and have this much trouble with the company, I definitely would not recommend purchasing from this manufacturer.

So far so good
The initial setup was easy, but I needed help with the mounting. I needed a drill to get through the concrete, but we got it done. The views look great. Good quality.

User friendly app and setup. Great quality pics and no subscription fees.
Friendly software and app a little technical tweaks but the system is working great. I like the home base system and the app is great. I have 7 cameras and am monitoring my home and a 40x 60 pole barn. I was not sure if I would get coverage on the pole barn but the home base came through and was able to connect. I was careful on my camera placement and the app helped me check signal strength. Extremely happy with the system. I have a Reolink system at my up north property and wish I had the Eufy as I do like it better for features, setup and ease of use and no subscription fees. Just dumped my Blink system as they forced me to their subscription fee program even though I had the grandfathered system. Really made me mad that they would do that so I paid 1 month, shopped for a new system and the Eufy is the one I recommend. They had a insane sale and I pulled the trigger and purchased it. Very happy so far and would buy it again.

Great color night vision with very low light!
The two photos at the left above show backyard and driveway in almost complete darkness. There was very low stray light above the fence and from the sky. I walked around in the areas and could hardly see where I was walking. You have 4 choices for night shots. Standard (ambient light), Daylight (brighter with a little light added), Spotlight (dual led lights with more power usage) and infrared night black and white vision. The other two photos of my front porch shows coverage of the entire front of the house with double cross coverage of my porch. I also have an older Euphy camera that looks straight across the porch into the street. Nothing gets onto my porch without getting a face and 360 degrees recording. Today I caught two loose neighbor dogs fertilizing my grass ๐คฌ. Before these new cameras I was the janitor for cleanup with no idea about the source. These new Euphy S3 Pro cameras are awesome. They have a 135 degree viewing angle , 8X zoom, 4K video quality, AI recognition of faces, vehicles, pets, and other motion. They have large solar panels so they charge themselves if positioned in a sunny location and come with a solar panel or more if needed for cameras mounted in low light areas. The mounting hardware is improved and easier to position the cameras. The only dislike is that the mounting holes in the base of the camera mounting post need to be slotted. Drilling in bricks is very difficult to keep exact hole spacing since masonry drill bits try to wander when starting holes. There are a bunch of other features that are available also. Like periodic timed snapshots so you donโt need to continually record. Then play it back like a movie. The radar AND infrared motion detection is a great improvement. The radar finds a moving object and seems to turn on the motion detection to record. I donโt know if that is exactly what is happening but I do know that moving objects donโt slip by undetected, unlike my older Euphy cameras. Watch several videos before you buy them. They are pricy but you get a lot for your money. A set of cameras comes with the newest S380 home base. Upgradeable with a hard drive to get 16TB of data storage. These new cameras and improved Home Base are magnificent!! The best part is you donโt have to pay a fortune for a contractor to run cables all over place around the house to make them work. I installed my 4 cameras and Home Base in about 6 hours. (Brick drilling and masonry bit re-sharpening). The instructions are very clear and the cameras and Home Base link up to each other with a push button and tone. Easy peasy!

5 Stars โ Excellent Camera with Local Storage and Impressive Night
Iโve been using the Eufy e330 camera for a little while now and Iโm thoroughly impressed. One of my main requirements was avoiding a monthly subscription since I already have a NAS at home. Thankfully, this camera supports local storage, which makes it a perfect fit. Setup was straightforward, and I love that it comes with two solar panelsโespecially since I mounted the cameras in locations that donโt have easy access to power outlets. The solar panels keep the battery topped off without any extra hassle. The Eufy app is user-friendly and lets you arm or disarm all camerasโor just individual onesโwith ease. Whether Iโm at home or away, I can control everything remotely without any issues. Where this camera really shines is the night vision. Itโs not the typical black-and-white you get with most camerasโinstead, you still get color night vision, and the clarity is excellent. This has honestly been one of the best night vision cameras Iโve used to date. Highly recommend the Eufy e330 if you're looking for a solid, subscription-free camera with reliable performance and great image qualityโday or night.

High quality outdoor cameras
They're outdoor only cameras. I ended up having to return this to get two more of this model, plus two indoor ones. They're great. I love the setup with the smart hub and that there's no monthly subscription. Really high quality videos even in the pitch black dark and pretty neat AI features do you recognize friends and family.

Good WIFI is key
Great camera BUT highly dependent on a good WIFI connection.

A very nice camera set that has some significant shortcomings.
While it does not have a swivel for tracking movement it does track between cameras for moving subjects. The cameras have excellent, almost daylight quality night vision. The solar/battery components work as low as -20c which is very good for solar cameras. My only complaint, and it is a big one, is the lack of a PC software component that allows you to set up a central monitoring station with a nice large monitor that lets you see all your cameras at once. You are limited to Eufy's android or iOS software and mobile devices to monitor your cameras. The web component is very user unfriendly forcing you to input a code whenever you want to use it. Network lag, measured in minutes, is pretty bad. By the time you get the notice, the activity is long gone. This I find common in all EUFY wireless devices.
