I will admit I was a bit skeptical when I purchased this item because it’s hard to get good products at a good priceI intentionally purchased the 12 foot one because I figure that if I need to extend it all the way on a shorter version I figured it would be flimsy, but after trying it at its full extension, it is very sturdy. I don’t think I will use the full extension, but it is nice to know that I have the extra length for the reach.I have also noticed that it actually is not toll feet. It is actually 11 feet which I’m pretty sure they were trying to imply that it has a 12 foot reach and not a 12 foot long rod unless mine was not fully extended which I tried to pull every single section out. It only measured 11 feetAs you can see by the video I have fully extended it barely tapped it to grab the golf ball and it picked it up with ease, and as I try to retrieve the ball, I was shaking the pole on purpose(you cannot see on video that well due to these new phones have mobile stability) and as you can see, the ball did not fall into the very end, which was my faultIt requires very little effort to attached to the golf ball as you can see in one of the pictures it’s barely grasping on the rubber and then I flip it upside down, and it still holds the ball wellBesides it being shorter than expected, which I said I will not need it fully extended. It is a great product and I cannot wait to use it throughout the seasonI will try to update anywhere from 6 to 8 months if I see any deterioration or rusting happeningI would recommend this for a great economical ball retriever

The first thing that I really like about this golf ball grabber retriever is the grip.I purchased the 12' version and was pleased with how easy it was to retrieve lost balls along the course.I really was starting to hate my old retriever with the swivel head, which made it difficult to place in just the correct position, especially in water.Although I am completely satisfied, I would like to note that I have read the reviews of others, and they are correct that 12' full extension can be a bit wobbly, however I have never owned a retrievers that did not wobble. It is as expected.The design is sturdy. The the telescoping design is much easier to deal with than a twist and lock design.I would highly recommend this product!

Overall build seems alright. The handle portion is sturdy and the head to pick up balls is a single piece. The rod is fine/ stiff when extended out to about 4 feet (extending on the thicker diameter rods, not the thin top section). At the full 9ft extension, there is quite a bit of flex. I am not sure how this will hold up with prolonged use yet. The rod itself feels like it could be thinner metal.Picking up the ball is easy enough with the head. Unsure how the rubber will hold up over time, since it looks to be a ridged section holding the ball in. Seems to hold a ball even if you don’t push it right into the ridges. This should work fine for getting balls out of bushes or behind a fenceThe rubber handle and head do get dirty quick. Barely tested it and it’s already picked up some dirty marks. It's a ball retriever, so if you're using it to pick up from water/brush/mud, it is expected. Choose a darker color if the dirt will bother you.For the price, seems to do the job. Not sure of longevity of the retriever yet (flex is a concern), will update once I take it out on some courses.

This ball grabber extends far and has two different sizes available. Grips hold balls well and hold on when swinging it back to you. Works well in water and can dig thru brush without bending.

Really long which is why I bought it. A little heavy but so what. Works very good.
