Great addition to tool kit if you have a reciprocating saw and adapter.

Reciprotools has created a way to harness the power of a reciprocating saw for more than just its primary role. A unique Universal Adapter allows the saw to file, clean, and scrub.The adapter is well-built, heavy, and sturdy. Tools attach firmly via a hex shank.The line includes 2 metal files (Half-Round & Rat Tail), 2 wood tools (Flat Rasp & Rat=Tail), 3 Brushes (2 Stainless Steel & 1 Nylon), a Cleaning Brush and a Cleaning Pad.Unfortunately, Reciprotool was aquired in 09/11 by Jore Corporation.The full line of these tools is difficult to find at the moment.

Well it showed up earlier then I expected. I used it in a tile shower on the floor & walls. It worked great.

This is a good idea but a bad design. This thing comes with the scrub pad glued to the plastic adapter so when the pad is shot the whole thing is trash (that's bad). Go to any hardware store and you can buy had scrubbers where the pad attaches like a velcro pad and can be replaced with another pad when it wears out.

The tool did not fit the Reciprotools adapter. I have a number of other Reciprotools accessories, all of which fit without any problems. When I compared them to this tool, I saw that the hexagonal insert on this tool is just a little bigger than the others, and its indentation is shaped a little differently. It was just not fabricated properly. Very disappointing.

Tool needs to be at an angle. You can’t use it flat when it’s on a recip saw. You can’t hold the saw flat.

Bought these as a X-mas gift, after my husband asked for additional attachments for his DeWalt Riciprocating Saw. You can never have enough tools!!
