ANISA BEAUTYCleansing Brush

Beautiful skin!!
Great product, my skin feels noticeably softer and smoother. I had a bit of acne at first but now that my pores are cleaner, I’m seeing fewer breakouts and clearer skin. It’s much gentler than a brush. After trying a few different cleansing tools, this face scrubber is a winner. The size is perfect, the handle is comfortable and the cleansing head fits all the angles of my face and neck. The bristles are just right, not too blunt. I previously used one shaped like a palm but it was awkward to hold and didn’t clean as well. That one’s been moved to the shower, this one’s staying in my skincare routine!

It's good, yeah... but,
After using a silicone-only bristle face brush, I missed the feel of regular hair bristles. When I saw that this brush had both silicone and regular bristles, I was intrigued at the duality. Each type of bristle serves its own purpose. I know the shape of this brush head is intentional, and it works. The only area that I feel I can't truly get into very well is right up by my ears and right on either side of my nose and onto the cheeks. The circular shape of the brush just isn't the best for getting all surface areas of your face and neck. But it works for the most part.Next, the way that this is built as a 2-piece component doesn't really make much sense to me. The actual brush head locks into the handle/shell of the brush holder. Why? What exactlty is the purpose? I can't quite find the answer. It just says "easy to clean" because the head is removable. But there would be nothing to clean if it were not 2 separate pieces to where water can get trapped behind the brush head, leaving the perfect environment for mold or mildew to grow and thrive in. So make sure you detach the head and let the handle shell dry out every time or at least very often. Just unnecessary extra steps with no benefit to outweigh the extra effort and time required to use this tool. Also, the handle of this tool is quite lightweight in comparison to the brush head. The detachable head itself has some good weight to it. So, the heavy brush head then feels bulky and harder to grip onto by the very small, very narrow and lightweight handle. Especially when using a facial cleanser of any kind, your hands will inevitable be soapy, making this irritating to grip onto for longer than 20 seconds. And you should be cleansing your face for at least 1 minute. And probably double cleansing if you've got a full face on.I do not use facial cleansing brushes as a makeup remover, so I can't speak to that. The 1st step in my skincare routine is to use a makeup remover balm and a microfiber clothe to remove all makeup. As much as possible. Then I use the tool to cleanse my face, I also do exfoliants and I double cleanse. Does my face feel cleaner with using this tool as opposed to my bare hands? Yes, of course. Bristles for your face are not meant to be hard and scratchy. While that feeling may give the "feeling" that you're getting a deeper clean, you're probably just damaging your skin with micro-scratches and cuts. So, I like the soft bristles on this brush. The bristles plus the silicone bristles get the job done, safely.I wanted to like this brush, and I still keep it and use it to this day, but only until something better catches my eye. The price is too high for what you get. Almost 30 dollars is not justified here. The design of this tool is simply flawed. I would willingly pay no more than 12 bucks for this.

Uneven bristles poke and scratch
This is awfully pricey at $28 for something so simple. I guess you are paying for the name here. It does have a beautiful color and the packaging looks boutique so it feels like a luxury item. Some people pay for that and that's fine. The function, though, just doesn't justify the price in my opinion. That said, here's the breakdown:What I like:--The color and presentation. Purely personal preference here.--2 piece so you can change brush heads without tossing the handle. I assume this was done with waste management in mind. The company does offer 2 types of brushes (deep cleansing and cleansing) to fit this and depending on your skin, you may want to rotate between the two during the week. Changing just the heads makes more sense in this case than having two 1 piece handled units taking up space. Also, when you need to replace your brush head for a new one, no need to have the extra handle.--You can just use the brush head without the handle and save money (buy just the brush head for $15)--Soft textured silicone handle that's easy to grip--Manual so easy to stash in the shower without worry of rust or malfunction--I don't use gel cleanser but Cerave hydrating bar so I lather my face and then use this to scrub. It worked well. What I dislike:--I got the deep cleansing brush and my skin is not sensitive. These bristles are jagged and uneven which creates a rough feeling on skin. I found these bristles poking my skin. I definitely would not recommend this type for anyone with sensitive skin. I did scrub all around and didn't create any lasting redness but it wasn't exactly a pleasant experience. It was ok, but I don't care for the scratchy pokes. This felt more akin to a body brush on my face. I am not sure if this was a defect or if the bristles are meant to be uneven. Check out the photos and how only a few bristles tower over the others. I also tried to depict how it contacts the face by using my finger to rest on those tallest bristles. Because these bristles are firm, they do not bend as well and thus you get the poking effect. I feel if these bristles were cut to the same length (flat across) it might be better. But again, this may be the intended design.--This is firmer and rougher than my clarisonic deep pore on my face.--I do not know how the gel cleansers would foam up by placing in the silicone "well" simply because the silicone center is set below the surrounding bristles. This would require one to press the bristles hard on the face to get the gel to contact and foam. Due to the issue above, this would feel very uncomfortable in my opinion. I would suggest you lather your face with your hands if using this particular brush head.--To credit, the description does say this is firm but also says for "gentle exfoliation without irritation". I think this is misleading to anyone who reads "gentle" because firm is the operative word here. Be aware this is firm and not what I would suggest for anyone who needs true gentleness.Overall, I like this brush and would continue using it. I think the deep cleansing is better for body scrubbing but I would still use it on my face 1x a week. I have the regular cleansing brush which is described as soft and flexible for normal and more sensitive types. I will have to try that one next.

feels so clean
All the parts can be separated, making it easy to clean, dry, and store after use. The brush feels soft enough for me, but it might be a bit harsh for those with sensitive skin. The size is slightly larger than I expected, but it effectively cleans deep into the pores. I use it on days when I need a deep cleanse.

Basic Brushing
This cleansing brush works fine, but for the price I would consider other options in the future. I appreciate that the brush head can be replaced, but based on the price of just a replacement head, they are valuing just the handle part at $13, which is a lot for something without much function.

Awesome
I'd b333n wanting to try something like this but just hadn't yet but at this price point I figured let's just do it. I'm so happy I did! This works wonders and gets your face CLEAN!

Pointless
This brush I feel is kind of pointless to have. The bristles on the brush are super soft which I feel provides no benefits to the skin unless you are the type of person who doesn’t prefer using your hands to apply facial cleansers. It is not battery operated. But it works as intended
