Versatile portable machine
First of all, I’m not a welder. At best I might be classified as a hobbyist when it comes to welding, and I have been using a MIG welder designed for use solely with shielding gas. It is from this perspective that this review is written.Pros:1) Portability due to size and weight2) Ability to operate from 120 or, with supplied adapter, 240 VAC3) MIG welding with flux core wire or solid core wire/shielding gas4) Simple polarity switching for above options5) Ability to stick weld & maybe try Lift TIG and aluminum welding6) SYNERGIC mode for automatic adjustmentsCons:1) Small size makes installing wire spool difficult with large hands2) Wire spool and feed mechanism is plastic, not heavy duty3) At max input current 40A, 12AWG power cord is minimal size4) Limited welding wire sizes supported. E.g. only .030 for solid wire5) On a scale of 1-5, the instruction manual is a 3 in my opinion.6) I cannot locate any information regarding a warrantyI like this welder. I am aware that this is certainly not a commercial grade welder – it’s more like me: hobbyist grade. This does give me the opportunity to try Lift TIG (once I purchase the required WP-17V (10-25mm2) TIG Torch) and also aluminum MIG welding. I’ll even be able to do some stick welding again. And for just MIG welding, this welder can supply a higher weld current than the welder I have been using. This welder is definitely a win–win for this hobbyist.

Small welder with Big capabilities
I bought this little welder with low expectations. This is the 4th Azzuno I've purchased and the smallest. I bought it to try stainless flux core wire and it welds it great. I've also ran .030 and .035 flux core wire thru it and it runs very well. The .030 flux core ran at 17.5 volts and 130 amps lays a great bead and good penetration .I used the stick function for about 4 hours today and burned about 5 lb of 1/8 7018 rods without any incident. It runs great on 125 amps with nothing but slag peal on verticals. I found this welder to be very easy to figure out and use. Loading the wire in a tight space is challenging but if you tilt it over a little it helps. The wire hub is plastic and the feeder motor is as well but they function fine .The ground and stick leads are lacking and got replaced with something bigger and better. I've welded on 110v to see how it does on thin metal and it does great with it. However if you crank up the volts and amps and run continuously it will blow a 20 amp breaker. I usually weld on 220v. I've had this thing since February and it's slowly becoming my favorite welder. I've put it thru some tough paces and it just keeps welding great . With the size of this welder you could put it in a back pack and carry it to the job site and be impressed with all of it's capabilities. The price seems a little high for what it is but you are getting a great welder and I would recommend this as a great starter welder.

Flipux spools falls off!! Very Very Cheap, No Support.
I bought this about a week ago. When I used it yesterday at my Small Engine Fabrication Motorcycle Shop, the wire spool kept coming off and giving me nothing but a mess of piled bird nest flux. The nut that holds the unit together continues to back off and the solder or flux spool falls off, very cheap!!! Tried reaching out to Amazon to get this problem resolved. I have been given nothing but a run around circle and here I sit with a very poor built welder and a company that doesn't stand behind their own PRODUCT!!

Bad welder
Company does not support this welder, need mig torch and cable, can't get it , company store will not recognize 155F welder. MY guess is they stopped making it. Now have a welder that only does stick weld , not going to order tig torch. Now stuck with 2 month old welder. No warranty information that I can find.

Instructions Lacking, Budget Level Quality
The welder itself is really nice looking and seems well finished and has lots of features. The included gas hose is junk, just cheap plastic hose like you’d see running an aquarium bubbler or something. It’s so stiff I couldn’t get it to go all the way on the gas nipple at the rear of the machine or the one on my bottle. The instructions are really lacking too, with a lot of gaps in things that really should be explained. And the pictures are so dark you can’t tell whether they’re pictures of the welder or pics of Uncle Vern’s prize winning potato. If you’re familiar with MIG welders at all you probably can mostly figure it out, but it just makes everything harder and a little frustrating.I’ve mig welded steel but haven’t tried my hand at aluminum yet, and I got this specifically with the idea that I could start learning aluminum mig without having to switch my main welder between aluminum and steel setups. My results after 30 seconds of trying were pretty terrible, but I’m not sure it’s fair to blame the machine since I didn’t adjust the settings much or spend any time trying to improve it.Now I’ve said a lot of negative about this welder, but to be fair, this is a bargain basement level welder and it really needs to be evaluated in light of that. For the price it’s offered, it’s a pretty decent welder and at the very least, it functions and legit works, so I can’t be too down on it. If you only want to spend a little and want to get in on a multi process machine, this really isn’t a bad choice.
