Sometimes scrunchies are listed as real silk, but in the fine print (and in feel when they arrive) I discover they are actually just a silky sort of synthetic satin. These to me do seem to be authentically made of silk. I can't be 100 percent certain, but I am pretty convinced that they are. Silk has a different lightness and feel and even smell to it than a synthetic material. These are so pretty, you can see the shine they have in the photos. They are perfect for wearing at nighttime, if you like to pull you hair back for sleeping in, which I do. The silk is so gentle on your hair, I'm so happy to have these to wear at night now! (Silk material by the way, you need to handle with care, you will not be able to machine wash these, and even hand washing might not be that ideal, so I would only use these on dry, product-free hair.)

These are really pretty, but look silkier than the actual fabric texture. The colors are soft and femme, and the scrunchies aren’t too large or too small. Good for thick hair.

I have been seeing this silk fade everywhere lately and I really didn't understand the hype?So when I saw this great mixed color pack of 5 , I grabbed them.I totally understand why everyone is so STINKING excited about them. They are so gentle on my hair while not slipping out of my hair for being so silky soft, I thought for sure they would be slipping out, but nope. They stay in place, I like to wear a high ponytail, and they are so pretty peeking through my messy bun.I have enough in CV this pack to share with my Daughter's for stocking stuffers for the Holidays. I ordered the set of five black scrunchies. They came in a nice looking box (suitable for gift giving). They feel very soft/silky and have good stretch. These comfortably stay in place in my curly hair with just two layers (i.e. putting scrunchie on and then twisting and running hair back through a second time). The elastic feels like 1/4 inch elastic inside the scrunchie, so I am hoping that means it will keep its stretchiness for a long time. All in all, I am pleased.

What arrived were five, very pretty, silk scrunchies in a nice, giftable box. The colors of the five scrunchies that I received were two shades of pink, beige, gold, and grey. All are all well made of a shimmery silk material that is very gentle on my hair. The silk fabric is a nice quality and thickness, and the inner band has a good amount of elasticity. This set of five, pretty, silk scrunchies would make a well appreciated gift.

So I'll start by saying that although these feel silky, they are not silk. They feel more like a cheap silk imitation. They are effective however in keeping the hair from knotting while sleeping or from leaving marks in the hair. It does seem that they offer very similar benefits in comparison to silk hair ties so that was nice. The colors are very pretty. They're easy to use and easy to take on the go. Overall, they aren't bad.

The Joyhabit Silk Scrunchies are really soft, and are hurt-free - they don't pull, or tangle up, in my hair. They're strong, durable, and easy to use too. They also look really nice - stylish. Overall, I think they're well made, well designed, and high quality - a great value for the price. These scrunchies feel silky and have a nice sheen to them. The colors are pretty. They hold well. I put my hair up in a bun last night before bed, and my hair was still in a bun in the morning. They also worked great on my ponytail. They aren't rough on my hair and haven't caused any damage. They are easy to remove.
