Surplus Raw VintageParatrooper Jacket

Be careful if you are considering buying this. The jacket is very nice and I was sorry to have to return it. However, despite buying my usual size (and I have several jackets that fit well), this jacket had sleeves which were ridiculously long.However, there is no way to return it without incurring costs and so far I haven't been reimbursed by the company. This has cost me £25 in total postage. Very annoying!

Arrived very quickly and well packaged. Four good sized external pockets and one good size internal pocket. Quality seems good.I,m 1.73 m tall, 70 kg and the medium jackets fits ok. For a perfect fit the chest would be a bit bigger and the sleeves a little shorter.Just me being an odd size.In saying that it is comfy to wear and keeps me warm with just a t shirt underneath. In colder weather there is room to wear a jumper/sweatshirtunderneath as well as a t shirt. Overall a very good warm jacket at a good price.I would use this seller again.

This is a fashion jacket, not military surplus, in case there are people thinking it is. Reasonable for the money and fashion quality, so it isn't made for anything that you'd need a military surplus jacket for. I've had Alpha Industries M65 jackets and the quality, and sizes, have varied from jacket to jacket, with prices now extortionate since Alpha went fashion too.These jackets seem consistent in size between the two I bought. Fair quality for the price. Slim and tall (long) fitting, and warm enough for UK winters if you're just wearing it on the street.

I’m 180 cm / 95 kg, usually XXL size clothes are big enough. This one was not. On top of that, the pictures on website don’t show poor quality of cotton external cover, poor quality of finish and the zip is not made from brass - it is cheap aluminium. Simply - not good enough for asking price. Avoid!

I am 6'00''tall, 42 '' chest and 34'' waist and I ordered a Large. The coat is not a bulky coat, it tapers in at the waist and fits me well in length and chest. but If I needed to allow for a chunky jumper I suggest go for an XL.

jacket is pretty good on the whole, but expected the material to be a bit tougher. If it was a genuine army surplus, I'm sure it would have been a bit more heavy-weight. Also, the arms are well padded, but the back feels a bit thin- ok for mildly cold weather, but maybe not warm enough for real minus temperatures.

Size matters..I am in the middle of medium and large size. So I usually have to decide between slim fit or a little roomy. As this is a jacket for winter use I opted for a little roomy and find it (a little roomy) perfect to be worn with a jumper underneath if needs be. The jacket itself is good quality and instantly felt great to wear. It will become my all rounder for most occasions coat. Love it.

Cheap material,however a good fit let down by poor quality. Got stung by having to pay for returns too. Beware!
