Been using the Hawthorne "Men's" Deep Exfoliating Skincare Set for a bit now and truly love it! It's not just a kit for men, it works for everyone! Or maybe my skin is just tougher and can handle it? The exfoliator cleanser isn't overly exfoliating, it doesn't feel like it's ripping my skin up or anything. It has a bit of a minty smell, but it's not overpowering. As soon as it was washed off my skin, the scent went away. The cleanser didn't have a charcoal smell/look to it, which I was shocked about. The face lotion worked great, too. It was lightweight, didn't cause any issues with my skin, wasn't greasy. It soaked into my skin and left it moisturized. Not sure what geranium leaf is supposed to smell like, but it didn't have a heavy scent at all.Very impressed with the Hawthorne Deep Exfoliating Skincare Set and would definitely recommend.

Great combo for everyday Men's skin care! The fragrance is not overwhelming and it does not smell like sunscreen. Another positive is that a little amount goes a long way, which makes this a great bang for buck!

There aren’t enough skincare products made specifically for men, and when I do find something, the next question is, does it actually work? In this case, yes, it does.The charcoal face cleanser does a great job cleaning out my pores and removing dirt and oil, especially when I pair it with a face scrub. My skin feels refreshed without being dried out.The face lotion has a light, clean scent, and the texture is just right, not too thick, not too watery. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy or heavy feeling on my face.Overall, I’m happy with this set. It’s simple, effective, and feels made for a guy like me.

I like the smell, it feels pretty good. I can't say that it cleans better than any other cream but it does work and it smells good and feels better than just using soap.

Smells great but dries my face out the lotions does not keep my face moisturized

As someone that has to deal with dry skin in my face a lot, I find that this set of moisturizer and cleanser really helps keeping my skin well hydrated. The cleanser has no smell however the moisturizer has a pleasant smell that's not too overpowering. The cleanser goes on and off easily and doesn't leave any residue. The moisturizer soaks in quickly and there's no grease or anything left behind.

This is a two pack one exfoliating cleanser and one facial lotion. First the cleanser. It has little beads and does gently exfoliate. It has a minty scent almost spearmint and menthol. It is fairly refreshing and does a pretty good job cleansing. It also leaves a soap film behind. I am extra sensitive to soap so this is not ideal for me in particular. The lotion soaks in well and only takes a little for full coverage. It feels more like a toner than a hydrating lotion. Maybe I am extra sensitive, I tried them both out but I actually ordered them for my son. We will see if he likes them any better than I do. The soap cleans the lotion tones but I am not sure it hydrates I had to put on a different lotion for my skin to feel hydrated instead of tight.
