I absolutely love this perfume! It is so wonderful and luxurious! I own other Bond No. 9 perfumes and just find that they stay on so much more than other brands. It is a little pricey but I tell you it is so worth it. I can put a dress on and put any Bond No. 9 perfume on and months later I can still smell it on the dress. Now that is a great perfume!! I love Chinatown because it is such a pretty and classy scent. It is not over bearing but one of those scents you want to get closer to the person to smell it more! It is classy and totally current. If you love to indulge yourself or have someone who loves to indulge you it is a must try. You will be a lifetime wearer of Bond No. 9 Perfumes!!KC

So sad that this wasn't the scent that I was accustomed to. It's as if it had gotten too hot or was old product - no scent other than alcohol. I am a HUGE fan of Bond No. and Chinatown but don't buy from here. Buy from a store where you can verify the scent.

Just love the fragrance and it stays without being overwhelming! Get many compliments from both men and women. It is a wonderful blend of an oriental/flourette..a little flowerey and yet sooo seductive. And, the best thing is the price...!!!

Being a gift to a friend I am unable to give any personal assessment of its longevity, but the recipient says "this is my new go-to perfume!": so sounds like it is a winner.

Meh. For the retail price I wouldn't have purchased it but for what it's offered for on Amazon i only feel mild regret at purchasing Chinatown by Bond No. 9. I believe it is authentic and performs like the sample I obtained but I feel this is overpriced for the silage and projection I get from it. There are others out there for less that perform better. It's nice but the drydown in this for me is a musky amber that makes me a bit nauseous. For some reasons musks and ambers don't do well with my chemistry and this definitely has amber if not the musk. I'm a fragrance enthusiast and have a decent collection but I have to qualify this review with my ignorance: I'm kind of like the American in Paris saying "yeah, that's some pretty good vino there!" when it comes to identifying notes and stages. I'm also a guy but not a gender snob and if my wife finds something I like I'll sneak some in in my morning prep or decant some for myself. Those things said, I like florals and spice and like layering things (loved ysl's opium pour homme edp and have found a good substitute by layering a few of my finds). I bought this to serve as a base for a couple of my 'man' scents and was a bit disappointed due to the drydown issues and longevity. I get about four hours out of it before it becomes so close to the skin I have to bury my nose to smell it and the projection in the mean time is only a couple of feet. It gets a recharge in the sun or after exertion if you sweat a bit. It may just be me because I have the same problem with both bottles I've purchase of Liberty Park (I like that scent enough to just recharge it although I find similarity enough in my wife's la vie est belle that I'll probably switch to that and secretly decant it).As I said I'm not a fragrance snob but there are some obvious characteristics I can point out. Initially I get neroli and bergamot. I'm not getting a lot of the sandalwood in the middle but it's there. I get a lot of white floral, amber, and a vanilla on the drydown. It's well done and classy but nothing unique nor remarkably interesting. Not great enough to purchase again but I'm not going to give it away to a friend. If the longevity was better or the price lower I'd give it another star. For the money I'll find something from Tom Ford or Atelier.

I was nervous to buy this product online vs in a retail store. I have been wearing this perfume for at least 15 years now. I can confirm this is the authentic product made by Bond #9. No question! It’s amazing and ALOT cheaper than getting it in a retail store.
