Forget the health claims, care about the GREAT taste!
While I know my chemistry and physiology too well to believe any of the health claims, I love this water for one simple reason: TASTE!Yes, waters have taste! I've been part of several water tasting studies and know restaurants that sport a "water sommelier" as well as a water menu featuring about 50 "luxury" waters. What makes Qure unique is that it is one of the most rounded, "heaviest", i.e. most full-bodied waters out there. You could almost call it bold and it almost seems "oily". You can tell the higher viscosity just by looking at it in the bottle or in a glass. This gives it incredible, silky smoothness and almost a "sweet" sensation, without any bitterness or drying sensation. (This answers the question about sulfates, as they would be the main cause of bitterness or dryness.)Very few still waters have this full, silky quality, and they are becoming harder and harder to find. The perfect use for a water like this is to use it for your dilutions when tasting a fine, cask-strength Whisk(e)y or spirit. Some Scottish distilleries used to bottle and sell their spring water, but most have stopped doing so. It is note-worthy that all the Speyside waters I have tried have had the same oily, sweet, full-bodied qualities that Qure exhibits. Now, a few words about chemistry... "Acidosis" seems to be the new enemy after we've "fought" fat, alcohol, salt, sugar etc., all of which turned out to be beneficial in moderation... It is impossible to achieve a threatening acidosis without having serious medical conditions causing it in the first place. Our body is simply buffered too strongly to allow for swings like that. The most important point, however, is this: The same people who promote an "alkaline" diet will tell you to drink apple cider vinegar, a very acidic product. I've even had people try to convince me that the malic ACID in apple cider vinegar, a moderately strong acid, will actually promote alkaline reactions... If you know anything about your chemical equilibria, you have to see the irony of all these claims. This water definitely is in an interesting pH range. Then again, my local tap water already is alkaline (around pH 8.5), but everybody is worried about that. For with the pH comes the mineral load, and lots of it at this high a pH. Over long periods of times, this bears the risk of favoring the formation of kidney stones, bladder stones, and other deposits.I can only hypothesize that with today's craze about high-protein diets, which are incredibly hard on your kidneys, maybe a high pH water will help flush the aquaporins you're building up with your diet. I am seriously worried about all the renal insufficiencies and failures we will see in the future, which is one of the most dreadful chronic conditions to have, inducing prolonged decline and suffering. So, PLEASE, drink water because you like the TASTE, not because you think it's "good" for you. Water will kill you - if you drink too much of it! The dose makes the poison."Dehydration" has been another over-used buzzword ever since the early 90s in the U.S. - seek out what George Carlin had to say about it. If anything, we are drinking too much liquid these days, and will suffer the health repercussions of that in the future.

Best tasting water ever!
As a self proclaimed water snob I can say that Qure is the best water I have ever tasted! I had gastric bypass surgery 5 years ago and discovered I was one of the rare few that could no longer drink regular bottled water because it made my stomach cramp up. When I was told I needed a higher pH water it was a game changer for me! Through trial and error I discovered I needed a pH at least 9 or higher. I was buying Walmart's brand which was 9.5 pH until I saw these at my local Grocery Outlet and fell in love! I bought the last few cases they had at $15 a case then went looking online for it and discovered how high priced it really is at twice the price. I was devastated but not surprised because this is the highest quality water I've ever had and is a whopping 10 pH! Since I had some left over money on my EBT this month I decided to splurge and use it on more Qure water. I do wish it was more affordable so I could buy it on a regular continuing basis but for now I will just continue to splurge when I have the extra money.

Has Helped Me Sleep
This water has been a solution to a variety of problems. I used to stay away from bottled water because the standard 16.9 fl oz. bottles were always way too much for me to drink at one time. I'd drink 1/2 to 3/4 of the bottle, and end up throwing the rest out later. After drinking half this bottle, there's still a full 16.9 oz of water left, so it never goes to waste. Another thing I'd like to mention is that I have noticed a difference in my sleeping quality. I suffer from night shakes/restless legs during the night, and the pH/mineral content of this water has helped stopped with the shaking. I also have digestion/IBS issues. For three weeks while I was traveling and not drinking Qure, I was having restless leg/anxiety and stomach pains. Now that I'm back home drinking the water again, both symptoms have cleared up considerably. It tastes really great, I think the benefits are worth the money.

Great taste. Greater price tag.
If this water were reasonably priced, I would auto subscribe. Many people I have sample higher Ph water in my home really do not seem to be able to appreciate the difference in taste compared to neutral Ph water. However, I can and I really like it. Of all that I have tried, I like Qure's taste the best. Though difficult to describe, to me it it silky smooth and seems to evaporate on the back of my tongue like a fine dry white wine. But the taste factor is really only a bonus. This water simply makes me feel better. Quantifiably, I take hardly any antacids anymore. I am not prone to imagination or exaggeration. The difference is real.

Best water Packaging Horrible
The water is hands down the best! However 9/10 times the bottles arrive with some damage or the the box is ripped open. This last time the case inside the box was totally torn apart and the top of the package was ripped open and two bottles were missing… the Shipper HAS got to do a BETTER job.

I like the 10 pH but the bottles tend to get squished on top.
We have really hard water and I like to use the highest ph water I can find in my coffee and ice makers. The taste is good. The bottles are nice and large but they tend to get delivered upside down and the tops get pushed in and I can't ever get the bottoms to flatten out so they need to be stored laying down.
