I have 1500 square feet of tile to clean and use a specific kind of mop. I ordered a Wringing Twist Mop, 18-inch Wide Microfiber, 55 inches Long Handle String Mop for Wood, Hardwood, Tile, from the NEWE Store and am very pleased with it. I have used them all... sponge, cotton rag, commercial, swiffer, and microfiber and for my needs, it's the microfiber twist mop. Microfiber works better on grout than cotton and I use my deep utility sink and fresh, clean water often. The head of NEWE mop is 18 inches wide in diameter, which covers a much larger area with each stroke than other smaller mop heads. The handle is a tall 55 inches including a hanging hole at the top. I certainly give this microfiber twist by NEWE a 5 star rating for value and quality! LOVE IT!

In general, this is a great mop. It works well on my solid surface and wood flooring and did not leave marks or scratches. The mop is a good length for a taller woman like me and it has a hole in the top of the handle for easy storage (I use hooks to hang my cleaning mops, brooms, etc. in my laundry room). It wrings out well and cleans up nicely. I had no issues with it being too wet or sloppy.When finished, I just washed it in a clean bucket of water and rinsed it. I wrung it out and hung it outside to finish drying for the next use. The size is really good as I have a large house and I want to get done cleaning as quickly as possible (cleaning is not my favorite thing to do).There was one thing I didn’t care for and that is the scouring pad in the center. In a couple areas where dirt was sticking, I tried to use it to loosen the dirt. Maybe it’s my height or the angle I use it at, but it was ergonomically not right for me. It seems to me like the scouring pad should be mounted to something more spherical. I felt like in order to use it, I had to have the mop perpendicular to the floor. This just felt odd and didn’t seem to help much.I will buy this mop again when this one wears out, but I just won’t be using the scouring pad. It’s set at a good price point in my opinion.

When is a mop not just a mop? When its a great mop with wide coverage area and super absorbent microfiber strands. Its also self-wringing and has different extension arms to allow you to control the height of it which is super convenient. I use this mop with the twisting bucket that came with my other mop with no problem, by dunking the strands into the wringer only. That works great for me but check your bucket for compatibility. I give this mop five stars - its well made, good quality and sturdy.

This is a good little mop for light household use, and at $14 (at the time of this review), it's a great buy. I gave it a thorough test on my embarrassingly dirty click-lock vinyl and it performed well. I don't think my floors are squeaky clean, but for a quick wipe down, this is a handy tool to have around. It assembles easily and is simple to maneuver. To wring the mop, simply move the lower handle down and twist. The mop head clicks into a gear-like lock, which is manually released when done (see pic). It does take some hand strength to wring it out - I would not recommend this for small and/or arthritic hands. I also had to wring it by hand a bit, but that's only because I need a drier mop for my cheap floors. The design of the mop head is a little awkward - the mop loops don't cover the center post well, causing the post to touch the floors instead of the mop strings (see pic). I found myself constantly having to pick up the pole and flip the mop loops under the post. It's annoying, but for $14 I'm not expecting perfection. If you are looking for a basic self-wringing mop for lightweight use, this is a worthy buy.

This mop has been hard to put together. Wife and husband have tried to put this mop together, but haven't been able to figure out how it do it, yet. The instructions are not complete or something. Hope we figure out how to put it together. We need a good mop.

This mop was easy to assemble and works so well! It's nice quality and the pole is nice and long for taller people. It wrings out great and cleans the floors so well! The mop is great quality and it's a new favorite!

figure out how to use this mop (never used one before) but once I did, wow! I've always used yacht mops and just rung them out with my hands. The floors always got too wet and it wrecked my lower back having to bend all the time. This mop was easy to put together and I was house cleaning when it arrived, so I put it to good use immediately. What a difference! The mop loops catch anything my robotic vacuum may have missed (dog hair) and the floors dry so much faster thanks to the twist ringing. After I've finished mopping the floors, I soak the mop in a bucket with some oxi powder to keep it clean and sanitized. Great mop, easy to use and worth every cent!
