This light is powerful and bright. It is touching control and light up the area I need it. I am happy with the stand and the heights. The light weight.

I have been eyeing this light for a while at the art store and decided to finally treat myself to a decent light for my oil painting studio. I had been using a gooseneck Otto-light, which left a lot to be desired.The nice thing about the Daylight DUO light is that it is very bright and perfect for making sure colors are accurate. It has two separate lamps that can be moved to cover a large space and adjustable neck that is great for moving the lighting where needed. It is easy to move and seems pretty sturdy. I work on large paintings and am constantly moving it around.Some negatives: I don’t like the way it turns on. I always have to count four taps and I sometimes accidentally turn it off when I am moving the light which can be annoying whilst I’m right in the middle of working. The pole part of the stand seems a little bit flimsy… time will tell how well it holds up. Also, the lights are not replaceable, which seems wasteful as it’s a nice light and will be rendered useless when it burns out. Though LED lights do last a long long time. I use mine for probably 8 hrs a day or so… we shall see how long it lasts.

I love the compactness of this lamp. I use it for lighting up my canvas when I oil paint and I don't have enough natural light coming in. The base is thick and heavy enough to withstand the movements I do on it when swiveling the top part of the lamp so that I can position it where I need it. I like the gooseneck part of the lamp, that will twist and turn every which way I need it to go. The lights are not straining on my eyes. It's a soft bright white light.2/23/2024: I would like to add that there is a NEGATIVE to this lamp. Upon thinking about what happens when the lightbulbs go out. So... When the bulbs burn out, there is no replacement bulb. YOU HAVE TO THROW AWAY THE WHOLE THING. (This is a $71.00 lamp in the trash until the bulbs burn out) The little booklet in the box even states this, and I just read it yesterday. There are no replacement parts. I should have thought about REMOVABLE OR REPLACEMENT LIGHT BULBS. Had I known this prior to buying, I would have not purchased this item.

I buy all Daylight lamps for my house. I really like this floor lamp with the adjustable light bars and brightness buttons. The base is very heavy so it won’t tip over, and the packaging was fantastic. No way it could arrive broken. This floor lamp is great behind my desk and I can easily see my laptop and bright light for my desktop. It would also be a great reading lamp. I do wish it was taller, but I am quite satisfied and I got it on sale.

Another lamp I had bought wasn't giving me the brightness that I wanted so I bought this lamp.The brightness is great. Design is great. Clamp is great.I'm wishing the light was warmer or had the ability to change. It has 4 brightness settings but no temperature change.The cheaper lamp I bought, from Trond, had 5 brightness and 5 temperature settings. I paid more for this lamp and I'm only adding brightness.All in all I would still recommend. The dual lights are a really nice feature and the clamp is also very strong. If it was a little cheaper it'd be a 5-star lamp.

UPDATE: In late June one side started to slip down. I contacted customer service and they were simply amazing! I sent a short video of the issue and as copy of my receipt and within DAYS I had a replacement light! Nothing short of amazing in todays world! I still love this light and look forward to many years of use!I had been searching and bought others that just would not stay up on the top of my easel. Tried this one and it's a game changer! Love the adjustable head and brightness. So easy to use and the light is just the right amount without adding unwanted glare! Highly recommend to other artists and craft workers!

Purchased for my wife to use in her sewing nook. Great light for the first four weeks and suddenly one shade stopped working. Customer service has not responded. DO NOT BUY.

I am pleased with the light. It's versatile in where you can use it and the neck moves. It fits nicely on my easle. It's easy to screw down and tighten. I like the design for each light works independently in movement and lighting. The lights are variable in brightness, just tap to change to your preference. The plug cord is a little short for me because of where it sits on my easle but an extension cord fixed that. For me it was a good value for I have limited space and a floor lamp cluttered up my space.
