Ordered these to give some extra lighting to the outside of my cadet sqn during winter months.. These are self charging (so no cost to the organisation) and easy to fit. The item came well packaged with a small bag of 2xscrews, rawl plugs and an adhesive pad). Installation is easy, with the option of screwing in the unit or applying the 3M type strong adhesive pad. There are 3 settings- an "on when dark", a "100% bright, turning to 10% mode on sensor" and a basic "on with sensor".. I've set this to "on when dark" and it has transformed the area around my cadet sqn, giving amazing lighting which now allows us to do some activities outside during darker months. It has also provided lighting for visitors too, allowing them to climb steps to main entrance easier (was dark previously). The advantage of "on when dark" mode is that it charges during the day and lights the area up at night, giving us an added layer of security also. Build quality is not too bad, although we haven't had an major rainstorms yet. Price break is good, giving you a decent, bright and self powering lighting unit at a decent price. I will be buying more of these to kit out the rest of the building surrounds. Highly recommended.
