RubiesAdult Top Gun (Classic Movie) Costume Bomber Jacket

I was hesitant about purchasing this Top Gun replica jacket because of the price, but I was blown away by the quality when it arrived. It looks amazing and feels well-made. I’ve received tons of compliments every time I wear it. Definitely worth it!

The jacket itself is very good quality and fits well. It works perfectly for Top gun costume. I’m 6’2 and 250 lbs, the XL fits perfect. Although upon receiving it, it had a terrible odor on the inside of the jacket, fish like. All that is needed to be done is turn it inside out and hang it on a hanger to let it air out as in the photo attached. For this reason I give it 4/5 stars. Price could be less as well.

It was an authentic Top Gun jacket. My son loved it, and kept him warm when he was trickier treating in 30 degree weather all night.Only con, was it had a awful fish smell that was embedded in the fabric when it arrived. Due the washing restrictions, I 1st did a light 5 minutes hand-wash with a tide pod and then air dry for the day. But that just didn't work. I did another hand-wash with a full 4 hour soak in a tide pod and Unstoppables then air-dry again before the stench finally came out.The price point after the hassle of cleaning the jacket to NEW was not worth the price. When you buy something, you expect it to be new, not dirty.

Used this jacket for a Halloween costume! We received tons of compliments on it and it kept my cold-natured man warm throughout the night!I will say- size up! He is wearing a Large (typical for him) and it was tight on his shoulders, restricting mobility

We tried everything to get the fishy smell out of this jacket and ended up returning it. It made my son’s shirt smell after he tried it on. Gross. Jacket was awesome, great quality, warm jacket, but reeked!

Seems like a real jacket leather feels decent the patches and the patches are real. It is warm it fits a tiny bit tight but I am 6ft 270 and I got the medium tall. Major complaint is the pockets are so small they are unusable. Also mine didn't have a bad smell as other have said

Was not pleased with the smell at all. We got this last minute and it smelled so bad almost like fish. It was a smell I have never smelled before. Due to the cleaning directions I was unable to get the smell out. No Dry Cleaning, No Washing all you can do it wipe it down with a damp cloth. I tried everything even fabreeze the strongest one I could find. I even took it to a cleaners to see what they good do and they were speechless. I even wiped it down with dryer sheets. None the less my fiance wore anyways because it was for an 80's event we were going to and no time to find something else. Not sure it was worth the money however he did get a lot of compliments. But I myself could barely stand to be around him and I was uncomfortable the whole night thinking that everyone maybe thought it was me that smelled.
