I had a terrible experience with another phone case company that resulted in me not having a case for my new iPhone 16 pro for over a week. It was nerve racking carrying my phone in my pocket & trying to ensure it wouldn’t be scratched or dropped accidentally. I saw an ad for native union and was immediately drawn to this active case for its looks and protection. I *hate* fingerprints on my case - which has led me to return other cases that also look good- the texture in this case feels awesome, is grippy, and doesn’t leave any smudges or prints. I love the slate green color, and the way my white titanium peeks out in the camera section of the phone is lovely. I give this case two very big thumbs up. I have been using apple’s leather cases for a while now and this is the first case I’ve turned to that I haven’t been disappointed with.

I was looking for a case with minimal branding and just an overall understated classy look. I am aware of the Native Union brand and generally speaking understood they made nice stuff. So I decided I would give this a try with my 16 Pro Max.I am pleased with the look overall. I have the black phone and got the black case and it's all pretty sleek together. The branding is minimal, which I appreciate. There's just some embossing low down on the back. It's easy to ignore in black in particular.The buttons function quite well on the case. I have a few cases I have tried and these come closest to the feel of the buttons that were on the Apple leather cases back in the day. That's really nice.The Camera Control cutout is fine, but not great -- like for most third party cases. The edge closest to the camera side of the phone is less raised, to allow your finger to more easily rest on the button. It think that's a bit better than on my Peak Design case that is more of a consistent valley design all around.Two potential downsides, one of which is more subjective:On the subjective side, it's a bit more plasticky feeling than I had expected. The pictures show how it has a nice pebbled pattern on the back and I thought it might be softer / faux leather feeling. That's not the case really -- it mostly just feels like plastic.On the more objective side, the MagSafe magnets are not great. They are ok, but not nearly as strong as what Peak Design uses and is still weaker than a few other options I have tried. It'll work ok, but it may not be great with a MagSafe car mount, for instance.So overall a nice case, but not quite at the 5-star level... But close.

As with other Native Union products I’ve used, this case is no exception when it comes to their well-thought-out designs with a stylish flair. I love the sleek look of this case, and it’s impressively lightweight—it doesn’t add much bulk at all!I rotate between a few cases, and the new camera cut-out for the Pro models has been a tricky area for many case manufacturers. Native Union, however, nailed it. The cutout is perfectly sized for the camera button, with a subtle lip extending in both directions, allowing your finger to comfortably scroll to zoom or access different features.The leather-like material on the back adds much-needed grip, as the sides can feel a bit slippery. The buttons are solid, and the sandstone color is a beautiful off-white that complements my natural titanium phone nicely. While I do miss the metal button covers from the Native Union Re(Classic) case that I also own, this design feels slimmer and more protective overall.One thing to note: the lip around the screen sits flush with my tempered glass screen protector, so when setting the phone face-down, the glass may make contact with the surface. Without a screen protector, there would be a slight gap, but I personally like the flush design. Overly raised lips tend to collect pocket lint and debris over time, which isn’t an issue here.Overall, this is my favorite case for the iPhone 16 Pro Max! The thoughtful design, stylish appearance, and perfectly executed camera cutout make it a top choice.

I am really impressed with this case!First, it looks great; I wasn’t sure the black band with the colored back would actually look nice but it’s wonderfully done and I don’t even think about it during normal use. The green color I went with is really nice!Second, the buttons feel perfect. It’s not a difficult thing to achieve but it’s easier and cheaper for the manufacturer to do it the way most cases do, which is to just flex the material and doesn’t feel as good.Third, it seems like it is durable. It feels like the materials will last and the construction is solid. Even with some light drops and a lot of MagSafe accessory connection, there are almost no signs of wear on it yet. Speaking of MagSafe, the magnets on this are very strong!

I'm using the iPhone 16 Pro case in the sandstone colour (the two-tone colours look really sharp). The sides are a very nice-looking deep matte black while the back is a sandstone colour with a leather-like texture.My first impression was that this felt like a higher quality case than most. The inside even has a soft microfiber lining. As soon as I inserted my phone, the case felt like it had a very snug fit around the phone. The sides are firm and straight and it doesn't look like any of the sides will warm. The whole case feels solid.The buttons feel really good. In fact, these are probably the most natural-feeling buttons I've used on a phone case. The buttons are perfectly responsive with firm clicks and no shifting or movement. It feels like you're interacting directly with the phone buttons.The iPhone 16's new camera button requires direct contact, so the case has a slight indent to allow your finger to press the almost flush button on the phone. They did a pretty good job with this as the bevelled shape of the indent lets your finger comfortably access the camera button. However, it does make the touch sensitivity operation of the button (ie. sliding through options) a little more awkward but horribly so. The indentation gives my finger enough room to extend a little beyond each end of the button to allow full range of sliding.Fairly typical, the camera lenses have a 2mm lip around them so they won't make contact with whatever surface the phone rests on.Overall this case is pretty expensive compared to many I've seen but I have to say that the materials and construction of this case feel noticeably of better quality. I also think the two-tone design looks absolutely great. A very sharp and mature look. I just really hope the case maintains its look and doesn't get scuffed-up too badly over time.

La verdad es que esta funda de Native Union para el iPhone 15 Pro me ha sorprendido para bien. Lo primero que llama la atención es el color, ese tono piedra arenisca es precioso, súper elegante y diferente de lo que se suele ver. No es el típico estuche negro o transparente, sino que tiene un toque único que combina genial con el diseño del teléfono. Además, se nota de muy buena calidad desde el primer momento que lo tienes en las manos. El material se siente resistente pero no es para nada tosco, de hecho, es bastante fino y ligero.Lo que más me gusta de este estuche es que combina perfectamente el estilo con la protección. No solo se ve bonito, sino que también está diseñado para proteger el móvil de caídas de hasta 10 pies. Aunque, por suerte, aún no he tenido la oportunidad de poner eso a prueba (¡y espero no tenerla!), se siente bastante seguro. Los bordes están reforzados y tiene ese pequeño borde que sobresale un poco para proteger la pantalla y la cámara, lo cual siempre se agradece. También viene preparado para funcionar con MagSafe, así que puedes seguir usando todos los accesorios y cargadores magnéticos sin ningún problema. Los imanes están bien integrados y funcionan a la perfección, el móvil se queda bien pegado al cargador o al soporte que uses.Otro punto a favor es que está hecho con materiales reciclados, lo que siempre es un plus si, como yo, intentas ser más consciente con las cosas que compras. No parece que hayan sacrificado calidad para hacer el estuche más ecológico, porque el acabado es impecable y se ve muy duradero. Después de usarlo durante unas semanas, no he notado ni rasguños ni decoloración, lo cual es genial porque muchos otros estuches bonitos suelen perder el color o desgastarse rápido.El estuche se ajusta perfectamente al iPhone 15 Pro, como un guante, no hay holguras ni problemas para acceder a los botones o puertos. Todo encaja de maravilla y los botones siguen siendo fáciles de presionar, no se sienten duros ni nada. También es súper cómodo de llevar, no resbala y tiene una textura que lo hace muy agradable al tacto, sin ser pegajoso.En resumen, si estás buscando un estuche que combine protección, buen diseño y materiales de calidad, este de Native Union es una opción buenísima. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para mantener tu iPhone protegido y, además, con mucho estilo. Definitivamente, vale cada euro y lo recomendaría sin dudarlo. ¡Estoy encantada!

Das Active Case ist hervorragend verarbeitet und hat eine Premiumqualität. Es ist passgenau und bietet dem iPhone perfekte Stabilität und Schutz. Alle Tasten lassen sich durch die Hülle präzise nutzen. Laut Hersteller besteht ein Fallschutz bis zu einer Höhe von 3 Metern. Weder dem iPhone noch der Hülle mute ich das in einem bewussten Test aber zu. Das Case hat eine schöne Struktur und sieht elegant aus. Die MagSafe-Kompatibilität sorgt für einen festen magnetischen Halt beim Laden oder für MagSafe Zubehör. Zudem wird ein Laden mit 15 Watt unterstützt. Positiv finde ich zudem den Ansatz der recycelten Materialien.

I spent ages deciding on a new case. I wanted something leather like but not leather. I was looking at the OtterBox cactus leather, but the design of this one seemed better.Happy with my decision, the case has a nice smooth TPU frame, metal buttons that are detached from the main body so they move freely and are clicky, the material is leather-like but seems to have a higher durability, I did try to scratch it but it didn't mark.Lastly the camera control button cutout is actually designed into the case, other brands are simply cutting a pill shaped hole in their cases.
