I actually purchased two different braces and this one really provided the support my sprained ankle needed. I was surprised by how well it worked. It kept my ankle ridged and was comfortable to wear.

I just received this ankle wrap 2 days ago and omg it has provided so much comfort … I have a wrap for the other ankle ( not sure if I’m falling apart or not). The older one is from my doctor and I needed one for my right ankle. This one is actually easier to put on and tighten up and provides great support!

Got this when I sprained my ankle and it literally helped me so much by stabilizing my ankle and aiding in my healing. Would definitely buy again.

It truly supports my ankle. Before I was coming home every evening and my ankle, not only hurt, but it was swollen. The difference is amazing.

Overall this ankle brace provides a good level of support. It works as shown in the ad, you first tighten the laces which stay in place with velcro tabs, then wrap the straps with the side supports under your foot and then up the side of your ankle on either side, and then there's a big velcro wrap around the top that keeps everything in-place.My only complaint is that I wish the laces and side straps were a little shorter, so I could make them tighter without them going to places they aren't supposed to. If I pull the laces to where I really want them, then I've run the end past where it can stick to the brace, or I have to run them at an odd angle. The side supports are similar in that they then run up my ankle a little father than is ideal and stick out the top. Maybe a Medium would have been better, but I'm a size 12 M shoe, which is dead center of the size L range.All that to say that this does provide a good level of support as-is, I just wanted to really cinch it down tight for a very intensive activity where I'd like a higher level of support, and probably need to size-down to accomplish that more easily.

This took more brain power than I care to admit to figure out how to put on properly. The included instructions advise not to get the velcro caught on your clothes, but that was nearly impossible to do in the process of putting this on even after some practice - there's just a lot of straps flapping about until they inevitably get stuck on SOMETHING.That said, the ability to tighten this to the right fit was nice, and felt very stable.This also included a free toe-less sock (this l brace is meant to be worn with crew socks, and frankly wouldn't be comfortable against bare skin IMO) but mine came already ripped at the heel.Each time I've put it on I've had to take it all apart to readjust it. Hopefully with practice I'll have a better sense of how tight or loose to make each strap.

There are laces on this support but they are not laced like in shoes. The laces do not need to be individually pulled to tighten them. The laces are in 2 two groups and are pulled tight and fastened with Velcro. Two more straps are routed under your heel and fastened on each side and finally 2 straps are wrapped around the top of the brace to keep everything secure. It does seem complicated but after a couple of times it becomes second nature to put it on.The brace provides good stability and is not overly bulky so should be able to fit into your shoe without issue. The interior of the brace has a soft lining.The seller has a free gift included which is an ankle brace compression sleeve. This is a much less supportive brace but is perfect for transitioning from the big brace as your ankle gets better and requires less support. This included ankle sleeve is a great idea.Overall, this brace provides good support while your ankle is healing from an injury or sprain. It is well made and should last a long time. If you are in search of a quality ankle support brace then this product should warrant your consideration. This strapped ankle brace is great. While it looks like a lace up model it is velcro which makes it much easier to use. Foot slips right in and is buckled and secured in just a few steps. Provides a good amount of ankle support for ankles that tend to twist. Nice brace.

This is exactly the type of brace I've been looking for- something secure and stiff with involving plastic pieces and hinges. The straps secure many aspects of your foot, but keep in mind, this does limit mobility. It's not bulky, but it's not thin either. The size chart seems to be accurate, based on the XS I ordered. The soft sleeve included is a nice touch, but it ultimately feels pretty useless on its own. It feels like a sock, in fact a compression sock may be more effective. The price is not cheap, but the quality is definitely there. I recommend this brace!

If you have injured or weak ankles, this ankle brace is really great. It's surprisingly very high quality and heavy duty and will really hold your ankle together! At first it looked a litle weird but it comes with detailed instructions on how to use and you can tighten it as much as you need. The one I received also came with a gift which was an ankle brace sleeve for when the occasion isn't as serious which is amazing, because I may start with the sleeve first depending on the day my ankle don't feel that great. I think mostly this may be for injuries to stabilize your ankle so it's always good to have one in your first aid kit just in case too. Fits true to size!

Compared to other ankle braces I've tried for my sprained ankle, this one does a much better job at maintaining its over the day as you walk and move around with your leg. It is a bit pricier, but I'd say that the price is worth it considering just how much more comfortable and stable it is.Overall, I can easily recommend this ankle brace for those who want to ease into their recovery of their sprained ankle, as you can easily wear this underneath a sock and shoes, providing good comfort and excellent stability of your ankle for better recovery.
