I have a long, high ceilinged living room with a gas stove at one end. I figured I'd give one a try, not really expecting much. I was wrong. I immediately noticed a difference. I'll add another since it's a pretty large drive.The fan functions beautifully. It's silent. Zero noise, which is amazing. There's even a handle that you can use to move it even if on a hot stoce. Magnets hold it to the metal.Highly recommended.

Our last fan broke after 7 years. This was a much better price than what I paid years ago! Works good so far.

This was the least expensive of the woodstove fans, so I thought I would give it a try. It does fire up and do what it is supposed to do, but something about the design of the blades creates very little air movement. I have to put my hand inches away From this fan to feel any air movement whatsoever. If you want a fan that will move the air around a room. You may want to look elsewhere. Maybe bigger blades or more pitch to the blades would help.

Heats my camp up quickly on top of the woodstove. Starts on the kindling stage of fire creation....lol starts quickly and runs silently. Happy

This "fan" is, frankly, useless. It spins, but it doesn’t move air in any noticeable way. I set it up on my woodstove, and while it spun fairly fast, I couldn’t feel any air movement even with my hand less than half an inch away.To test its effectiveness, I blew a puff of vapor behind it, expecting it to be drawn through and pushed forward. Instead, the fan just threw the vapor off to the sides without any forward airflow. I even tried bending the blades to increase the pitch, hoping for better results, but nothing changed. It’s astonishing that a fan could be this ineffective at moving air.This fan takes up space without serving any real purpose, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I purchased this to sit on top of my metal chimenea that I use on my covered deck. You normally have to sit really close to the fire when it's chilly to feel warmth, but with this addition the head is much more efficiently dissipated. My chimenea does not require electricity, so I love that this fan doesn't either - no need to hassle with extension cords or worry about people or pets getting tangled up. Whoever thought of putting a magnet on the bottom was a genius.
