Short term heavy use review, good value.
Build 5 starsBluetooth 5 starsNoise cancellation 4 starAnd finally, sound 4-4.5 stars depending on connectionIt’s a great starting place, for the value, into quality headphones. The company is well established and has a good hold on both quality and Bluetooth technology so it’s too notch there. As far as the 4-4.5 stars go:Noise cancellation:it’s good but not the best, when confronted with noises that at can’t handle, it will crackle a lot. But those are only in very high noise situations.I have tried this on a flight and it works very well. I only wish they programmed a decibel meter or something in, to where the noise cancellation would not “try too hard”… but this is in high noise environments such as a vacuum cleaner in the same room, so it will be seldom that you encounter this, but a firmware update would be appreciated. Now, the main course; the sound:It’s well balanced and does not lean too low, too high, or too mid. I have a bias and love slight mid focused headphones. So this sounds a bit high for me, but I know that this is well balanced because it is slightly higher. I would rate a 4 star on the 3.5mm connection and a 4.5 on the Bluetooth… the wired connection seems to be slightly more mid focused, the wired is balanced and possibly even too high/mid focused for my taste (I have tinnitus so too high will make my ear ring). Some notes: it comes with cords and a case, which is up to Bose standards and competes with Bose in my opinion in everything but the noise cancellation. Battery life is good, but most headphones with active noise cancellation are not necessary that good in this area, so on par.The summary:Absolutely worth the value value if you are not looking for a bass heavy headphone. The noise canceling is sufficient for flights, the sound is pretty close to balanced, the build quality and Bluetooth is great. A good alternative to Bose… or even Sony if you want less bass heavy.

These are amazing!!!
Summery: Excellent but the app sucks, battery good, comfortable, yes, sounds quality, great, nouse cancelling, excellent. Amazing everyday lifestyle headphone, nice and light.I LOVE these! I've owned these for about a week and a half now and these are amazing! The noise cancelling is outstanding, the volume is excellent, the THX certification makes sense. These things last me all day, I love them. The earcups are very comfortable but there could be more padding on the headband but I wore these for like 8 hours and only then did I feel a little bit of discomfort but I took off waiting a minute or two then I was ready to go. They come with a wireless dongle for your computer, and aux cord for your phone, and a USB type C (yay) for charging. The case it comes in is very good quality.I will admit however the app is sort of bad... Razer doesnt make great apps if you couldnt tell already from synapse. You cant customize the equalizer and the presets are just kind of bad... I really only like 2 or 3 and my favourite is the default. On my phone if I go to bluetooth I can see the battery percentage but if you cant the app will tell you.Over all great buy no regrets. This was a pretty big purchase for me since I work part time and go to school and dont make much but you need a good pair of everyday headphones I highly recommend.

Pretty good value for money
Sound quality is pretty good, i did hear a little crackling on a particularly loud Pertubator track but otherwise it handled all other music faithfully. Some things to note:- out of the box, the headphones refused to charge. It was stuck at 10% and had a flashing red light where there should be green while charging. Installing the Razer Opus app on my phone and doing a firmware update while the headphones were hooked up to the charger fixed the problem.I must admit it made me want to return it, and it's generally a bad first experience for the user to have to troubleshoot something that should just work.- noise cancelling is not the "oh my god the world has been sucked away" variety that Sony's latest headphones have, instead it replaces the world with a much quieter version. In fact, i wasnt even sure it was working until i turned off the noise cancelling in a busy train station and was suddenly bombarded with loud racket. I actually prefer this kind of noise cancelling, its handy for commute scenarios where you want quiet but need to hear announcements/trains approaching etc.- the Opus app comes with some presets, but there's no graphic EQ. Sound quality is fine for me though so no biggie, but some people care about these things.

Wireless All-Day Daily Drivers
I've worn these things for an average of 10 hours day for just short of a year straight - often sleeping with them on. The battery life is outstanding. A year later and I need to charge these once/day, at most, and it charges very quickly. At full charge, these could easily do 16 hours.I ended up having to do a hard reset (instructions in manual) twice after the headset became disconnected and completely unresponsive, but remained powered on with no auto-shutoff. After a firmware update with the Razer Opus app this problem has not happened again. My experience with the noise cancelling feature has been very good. Its not perfect, and struggles with full elimination of the same types of noise every (non-ai) active noise cancellation does.Bluetooth works well. Audio quality is reduced compared to 3.5mm, but that's a limitation of the bluetooth spec itself. It's very good audio quality for what the spec allows. As far as the media/call features, all I've really used is the volume and play/pause, which work as expected.yExcellent battery lifeSurprisingly durableGreat audio quality

They're amazing. Perfect for my needs.
I bought these to go running outside. I looked around at a lot of other over-ear headphones and they always came back as the best to workout with. They're not too bulky, they're snug and don't move around much on your head, the active noise cancelation is good (the 3rd best in my opinion in this price range behind the Sony xm4 and the Bose quietcomfort), the sound is great, the app could be better but it's still ok and they look good !To those who say the volume doesn't go high enough, you must be deaf, you should go get checked out, you don't need more than that. The volume is plenty high. If you complain about the bass, go buy some beats you low life rachet. If you complain about a noise you're hearing in the background, that's called tinnitus, the headphones aren't the problem, your ears are.As someone else here said, the Rting website did a good job testing and describing every possible headphones and they are pretty accurate on these ones as well if you want to go check it out. There are headphones for everyone's particular needs. You just need to find yours and it might not be these ones.
