At home I’ve been a decades-long drinker of Senseo coffee. I do like the taste and the intensity as somehow, despite many more flashy alternatives available, we continue to stick to our trusted Senseo machine (the 3rd machine we have had), probably because of the ease of use and the limited cleaning required. I must have a really boring job, as I need to drink a lot fo coffee during the day to keep me going. Nevertheless I’m not a coffee aficionado - I would not taste the difference between various types of coffee. (Though I avoid a particular brand from Seatle that always gives me stomach ache after the third cup). Senseo might not be the best coffee out there, but to me its a very acceptable, creamy alternative. If it’s not strong enough I would refer to the dark-roast Senseo pads. Importantly, these are not the double pads often sold in the UK supermarkets - if you are lucky to find Senseo pads to start with. These are the thin, single pads, that can obviously still be stacked in the double cup holder.

Nice tasting coffee and a good find on here since these pads are becoming increasingly hard to source in the supermarkets. I guess the machines that take them have lost the battle against the plastic pod variety.

I've been a fan of the pod since getting a Senseo last year. It's the perfect way of getting a proper coffee experience without spending too much. I'd tried the World Experience, in other words a selection from mild to strong. Wimps imply I need the spoon to stand in it; I retort I don't want to drink washing up water. All the same, the medium roast in the best of them, hence this purchase. They came on time from the Continent and they taste great after a hard day. Thoroughly recommended.

This coffee, by Douwe Egbert, when brewed in my Senseo coffee maker, is rich, full, and the perfect way to start my day. Oh....I start with about 1/3 hot milk, and add the coffee....lots of delightful cream! Perfect!!
