Ordering another THREE after 5 yearsWe started with one of these, and then ordered another as well as some cheaper ones. the MK versions are still as good as new after FIVE YEARS except someone washed them with the bathmats and bits of the mats stuck to the seatcovers, looking ugly. So now I give up on all of the other brands because I know for sure these are the best. All other brands were too small or badly designed. Note however, though these fit my standard OVAL white wooden seats VERY easily and securely, they might not fit other larger or thicker seats as well.UPDATE after one year:Still in daily use and been through the washing machine many times. I ordered a second one for backup as well as three from Home-X, and compared also to Dealglad, which have been tossed because they do not do the job. I would say the Miles Kimballs are the best, Home-X "single" unit is about as good for a little less money, Home-X "double" package is a different size and does not cover the entire underside of the seat like the others do. I was asked to make photos, and I'll do that when I get around to it, but suffice to say you should be happy with either of the "single" packs. I have not had any broken rings, and they do fit all of my standard oval seats, which are all white wooden ones.UPDATE: Three weeks after receiving these, we received the "Chinese" version from Dealglad (2 for $5) which we ordered at the same time. I ordered them mainly for something to use while the MK version was being washed and dried, but also simply because they were so cheap I thought I might order a dozen if they worked. Well, THEY DO NOT. Apparently the copycat there didn't bother to buy the original and just tried to make a copy from the photo. It is thinner, smaller, MUCH harder to install and pops off of the seat if you move much at all while sitting on it (and will fall inside the toilet if you aren't fast enough to catch it)... Buy this one!!! MUCH MUCH MUCH BETTER even though (per cover) it costs many times as much. I'm sure the Chinese version will work if you want to put two sided tape under it, but I still don't think you'll like it once you've tried this one.Original Review:This is my Filipina wife's 3rd winter here and she just could not stand looking at another several months of cold toilet seats. Our bathroom is not central heated, so it stays much colder than the rooms we stay in most of the time unless we turn on the heater. That does not help on short toilet trips. She yelled from the bathroom a couple of weeks ago asking if there was any kind of cover for the cold toilet seat.Well shame on me! Of course there are covers and I should have had one that first winter. I looked through the Amazon and Walmart sites and this was the ONLY cover that looked nice... so I ordered one.But you can't tell from the photo that the UNDERSIDE of the toilet seat is very nice looking as well... compared to the other types of covers at least. No it's not smooth like a sleeve, there's no way to do that, but it is totally covered with just a neat ring around the middle. It kind of snaps into place with the spring ring you poke through the top and then wrap it around so the elastic outer edge covers the bottom up to where the spring ring is. It's very nice.. no straps, no clips... just a nice, clean looking cover. I was going to say it looks just like the picture, but actually mine fits better than that one. Top Marks.Of course it's new, so we will have to see how well it washes, if it stains, or if it doesn't maintain the elastic hem, but I'm fairly certain I'll be ordering at least one more. (See Update!)It arrived in one week, unlike most of the listings that come from China in a month or more. Well worth the money. I wish there were more colors.

Must be constantly removed and thrown in the washer. Otherwise a nice product.

Over the years I bought several of this toilet seat cover from different company. There is even one that I bought that was shipped to me all the way from China. That one is totally junk but not this one. This is thick and well made. This is the best that I have purchased over the years with regards of toilet seat cover.I am very happy and satisfied with this purchase and planning to buy some more before it's all gone. So far, I bought four. It is very hard to find this kind of quality of toilet seat cover. I'm glad I found this.Just wash it by hand in luke warm water. Before you wash it, take the hard ring that goes around the cover by finding the connection of the ring. Just feel the ring with your finger and you'll easily find it because it is thick. Now, pull it apart and carefully slid it out. Be careful not to bend the ring because the ring helps to hold the shape of the cover. Use luke warm water because hot water will loosen the elasticity of the cover very quickly. Do not use bleach as well. When dried, insert the ring once again all the way in both ends and connect the ring together again.For those who have difficulty putting this on to your toilet seat, this product comes in with step by step illustrations on how to put it properly on your toilet seat.

Ordered 2; Jan 2022; fit reasonably well on commode seat. not padded. does the job over 1st week+. Glad we ordered.

I received this yesterday and went to install it. There is a plastic insert which goes around the under-the-toilet edge which immediately poked out of the weaving of the cover. It was easy to poke it back into its track but I hadn't expected that. As for the installation, it was easy, just put the plastic part under the toilet seat and pull the other side into the seat opening and around over the seat. I have an elongated toilet seat and it fit fine.It makes the seat very comfortable and not cold. It is called a "Cushioned" seat cover, but there is no cushioning, just the fabric. That's the only reason I only gave it 4 stars.

This is a second review, 6/15/21. The toilet seat I had was lightly padded but not enough to keep my tailbone comfortable so my lumbar scoliosis and broken vertebra were not so painful. The Veterans Administration bought me a 2 inch thick padded toilet seat. This seat cover works on the new seat. It was not an easy installation but it is a perfect fit. It was not easy because you have to pull it tightly to get it to stretch over the thicker seat. I am so thrilled it works so well! I would buy this cover again and definitely recommend it to a friend!

My toilet seat color was rubbing off, but the lid was still acceptable. I saw the toilet seat covers and felt that would work to make it look better. I chose the ivory color because that was the closest to the original color. The cover fit perfectly on the toilet seat and hides the imperfections. It's also nice and soft to sit on instead of a cold seat in the middle of the night. I am very pleased with this product and may buy another to keep as a spare.
