Just what I expected

Doesn’t get quite hot enough, so I don’t feel the shrink wrap tubing I use will keep the weather out.

Heat level great but the blowout isn’t nearly what I thaught.

I do a lot of automotive and electronic wire loom repair, so I'm constantly applying small diameter heat shrink tubing. This cordless tool is not the most powerful, but it is perfect for my uses. It gives me a lot of flexibility, especially when making a wire loom repair up under a dashboard or similar. To date I have been using a similarly compact light duty 120v heat gun, but the cord was constantly getting in my way. This won't be a problem anymore! A nice bonus feature is that you can lock the controls on this unit to make sure it does not turn on accidentally in your tool bag.

Used it a hand full of times, maybe 10 times for no more than 10 minutes at a time, now it shuts off after 30 seconds with a full battery! And now i cant return it because im a little past return date. Now i have found out that seekone heatguns are returned alot due to this problem! I guess mine lasted 10 days more than evreyone else's! This heatgun is JUNK!

Needed it for work. The compact size makes it quite useful. I believe it's better than using the soldering iron with attachments.

Wanted to use this to connect wires... says 450 degrees but near impossible for me to get it to melt the solder in wire butt connectors. Melts the plastic ok, just not the solder ball in the middle. In a perfect scenario where you could constantly roll the ball 360 over a stationary heat gun, it works, but slowly.

The media could not be loaded. So this is a cool product...I find myself using a heat gun often for various reasons...this one found it's way into the toolbox right next to the butane soldering iron and heat shrink tubing...now as I expected with its size and design being cordless the rechargable battery doesn't last too long as it wouldn't in any heating product, but long enough to serve it's purpose...now I have to say I personally i couldn't see myself using it to tackle any of the larger uses of a heat gun but like I said it's great for heat shrink of electronics especially around sensitive areas where you don't want a lot of ambient heat...but this is not the tool for shaping pvc or window tint...just not enough fan output for it...great product and great idea being cordless but don't expect it to replace a full size heat gun..if your frequently soldering its definitely worth grabbing
