Great replacement hose
I am putting an addition onto my house including an additional external faucet so needed a new hose. Have never tried stainless steel versions before so thought I would give this one a whirl. I’m not sure what I expected but this definitely was not it. Compared to my usual rubber hose, this one is much smaller and so far doesn’t seem to kink. I assumed steel would be heavy but this one is only a fraction of the weight of my rubber hoses and very easy to move around. So far no kinking and it is so much smaller than the rubber one that it will be very easy to coil and store. It has brass fittings for attachments at each end. The only drawback I have found so far is that the brass fittings are a little thin and were not too easy to attach – had to use a wrench to get it tight, and even then it leaks a little. I think I can fix the leaking easily with a little plumber’s tape but haven’t tried it yet – still amazed at how light and easy this one is to use. Haven’t had it long enough yet to know how durable it will be but so far it has been great and wish I had switched from rubber hoses years ago – I’m assuming I will have this one for many, many years.

So far I like it
We've been through a whole lot of hoses in the last number of decades. The vinyl hoses are heavy and kink. They also harden in a few years, if the animals don't bite through them first. The expandable hose worked well in the garden, since it would automatically retract with the water shut off, but would break if tugged on too much. The polyester covered hose has done the best, as it's held up quite well so far, but it too would kink at times. So I'm off to try something new: a stainless steel spiral wrapped hose.I don't yet know about long term durability, since it hasn't even gone through even one season, but it looks promising. The hose has sturdy brass connectors on either end and the inner lining is armored with a stainless steel shell. I don't think you'd get a kink out of this if you tried. The stainless steel shell should keep it's fine appearance and not degrade in the sun. It is light weight--much lighter and maneuverable that that old vinyl hose. So far I am impressed.I've been using it lately to replace an old vinyl hose that was difficult to work with (heavy and stiff in the cold weather) for washing all the muck off my gear after trail work parties. It's been a pleasure to use. Now, I haven't given it a serious long term workout, so I don't know what may happen if it gets stepped on while on a hard surface. Will it bend or crush the metal shell? It's not likely that I'll try that on purpose, but I do wonder if that may be it's weak point.

No problems hooking it up and no leaks at all first try.
Review for: Garden Hose 25ft, Stainless Steel Metal Garden Hose with Brass FittingsNo problems hooking it up and no leaks at all first try.I got this hose to hook up water on an RV trailer. We don't use the water in from the hookup for drinking. This seems durable and did not kink up at all.

Good basic hose
Awesome hose. Works as expected. Light, easy to move around the yard. Fits well with other hoses of the same type, but not other hoses. (For me, it leaked where it hooked onto a different hose.) It's a pretty small hose so water flow will be less than larger hoses. Otherwise, works well.

MIGHT JUST BE "THE LAST HOSE YOU WILL EVER BUY"........
I am a member of the Amazon Vine program. I order new items, and then write honest, unbiased reviews of that product, along with my impressions and experiences. I am not paid for these reviews. This stainless-steel armored garden hose claims to be "kink proof, puncture proof, tear and crack proof, thorn and nail proof, corrosion and rust proof", AND "Animal Proof". It just might be. I ordered this 25-foot stainless steel metal garden hose with brass fittings because of that last claim. My golden doodle puppies have proven themselves capable of destroying just about anything that is not strong and solid. I do need to use a garden hose in the back yard, where they stay, from time to time. My hope is that they will not be able to destroy this hose like they can with a vinyl hose or rubber hose. This hose looks good. It is well made, with rubber reinforcements on both ends, and it comes with extra washers to assure the water-tight connection on the female end. This hose is surprisingly flexible, given the spiral-wrapped stainless steel outer covering. It rolls up neatly and will be easy to store. This is a good hose. I recommend it!

I Really Like Metal Hoses, and this is an Excellent Example
Metal hoses are awesome! They don’t kink; they pull along the ground easily; they are comparatively light, they won’t squish (under normal circumstances – I don’t think they will even if you run your car over it, though I haven’t checked!), and they you can easily link them together with other hoses (you can do that with any hose, but I’ll mention it anyway as I like metal hoses!).This 25 foot hose from Palint has brass fittings on either end of the hose and plastic guards which protect the ends of the hose, always the weakest part of a hose. The price for this 25-foot hose is very reasonable. I keep getting more of them as I do link them together to make a hose which will reach all around my yard. No matter how long it gets it’s still pretty easy (MUCH easier than a standard hose) to pull around the yard. I recommend this to you.
