Great helmet for the $$
I purchased this helmet after riding with a used Shoei helmet for a few months for comparison. My motorcycle is a cruiser and I've been using it with my windshield on, so can't speak on wind noise yet. I plan to remove the windshield once the weather is permanently warmer, so hopefully have an update on that soon. With a windshield, the noise reduction is good. I also installed bluetooth speakers, which probably helps. Pros: - I REALLY like that the inner visor seems to come down further than some other brands (see image) - weight is awesome for this price point, similar to my Shoei which is a much higher price point - quality construction: visor lock in the front/middle works well, visor hinges are solid and easy to remove/reinstall, micro adjust chinstrap is great, slider for inner visor is solid (although the placement means you almost have to use adhesive to install bluetooth?); see image for how I attached a bluetooth- maybe could have slipped behind the slider? - love the looks (bought white for summer riding- hopefully just a little cooler) - ventilation seems solid (either open or closed- one setting) - vents flow air decently (not sure you can "feel" a lot of air flow with any motorcycle helmet vents- similar to my Shoei) - dropdown visor is pretty good (I'd prefer darker, but seems like most are just the similar gray tinting) Not so much Cons, but things to consider: - sizing for my head said medium, I had to purchase XL cheek pads as the size that comes with Medium were unbearably tight - the XL cheek pads (again purchased separately- additional cost) are much better - the visor only has two "ratchet" positions- half and full open, so trying to vent just a bit for fogging works but is not a locked in position - probably similar with most helmets, but I installed a pinlock (additional cost) which works great until you put the dropdown visor down... which fogs up- and doesn't "unfog" for longer than the visor typically would at speed (small issue, but something to keep in mind) - I've tried to remove the chin curtain (included) and it doesn't want to come out. It's supposed to be removable, per the manual, but I've pulled hard enough that I was worried it would tear and it didn't budge. If I figure that out, I'll update with the noise report later. I'd probably get something without the additional dropdown visor if doing things over. It's just not dark enough for my taste and it fogs really easily- even in warmer weather when sitting. I'd prefer to just use sunglasses which do work with this helmet instead of putting down the inner visor. Not a deal breaker, just something to think about. Overall, I'd definitely recommend the LS2. It's comfortable (using a different size cheek pad) and all parts seem well built and designed.

Great looking helmet, and cost effective!
Greeeeat helmet. I had a brake pad come off of a car in front of me on the highway. Helmet took it like a champ and saved my money maker! The company even helped with out with a warranty when the mouth piece broke off during that experience. If you live somewhere where the weather can cause condensation from your breath, look into getting a pin lock insert, with that installed the helmet has been made perfect for me. I enjoy the built in visor for when my sunglasses aren't completely cutting it, and my sunglasses fit comfortably while wearing the helmet which is a huge pro for me. The only con would be wind noise, but I sit high on my bike where the windscreen isn't blocking all of the air. I've also got long hair which breaks the seal around my neck, so at speed I notice the wind noise a lot more than just driving through the city. Could be me, could be the helmet, just something to be aware of.

Good basic helmet
I mostly bought this due to the ECE 22.06 rating, weight, and most of my ridding is in the city. So for all that I feel it is a good helmet for the level of comfort and protection. There are the smallest black paint imperfections, yet honestly nobody will see them when I ride. Plus for the price is really is light weight and has some good noise reduction. I am one of those in-between medium and large sizes, I went with the medium size and it is breaking in to a good fit. I am used to D-Rings, yet the strap isn't hard at all to get use to. I really enjoy the minimal gloss white with a bit shimmer it has to it. Plus the LS2 logo is nothing too crazy. Vents are good and I ride without a chin curtain as most of my rides are around town. Still even without it I like the extra air flow. I wear glasses and they work just fine, even with the drop down sun visor. I do wish the sun visor would drop down a bit more, yet I would still rather just use my glasses.
