Avery Printable Shipping Labels with Sure Feed, 2" x 4", Matte Clear, 500 Blank Mailing Labels (5663)

These labels are perfect for printing on a laser printer (no smudging at all) and for sticking on envelopes. They're a good size for regular size envelopes or Thank You cards, and are very easy to print on. Microsoft Word has a template already built-in for addressing, and they're easy to peel and stick. Although they are clear labels, they are not invisible, so you can tell there is a label there, and sometimes behind the label looks a touch darker than the plain envelope. I was very impressed how nice it came out, even when printing in black ink on a laser printer that feeds through the machine in a loop - they didn't melt or mush in the printer at all. I'll likely be using these to address my wedding thank you cards as well as Christmas cards until I run out of them. I debated using them for the wedding invitations themselves, but because of the slight discoloration, I think I'm going to print directly on the envelopes for those instead. They're perfect for less-formal addressing, though, and very convenient.

I like how my laser printer prints on these labels - they look great. However, when I put them on my smooth, straight-sided glass jars, there are a lot of little bubbles under the label that look pretty terrible. I ultimately opted not to use them for my packaging. I think they'd work fine on envelopes or in other places where little bubbles won't matter visually, but I haven't tried.

I ran these on my Xerox 550 Laser printer and one of them came off and stuck to the finisher and we couldn't find the problem so had to have tech come in.....big problem....lots of cost to get it fixed. Looked good, but will not use them again...sorry!!!

Use these labels every year for Christmas cards. Work great no wrinkling in the printer. Good price for 500. Usually $50 at other stores.

These are the best labels that I have come across. They dry immediately using a laser printer and are truly clear. Would recommend.
