It also explains the science behind Psychology.to where you understand how they also perform the researches and studies along with the outcome of each. Then there is nature and nature how they play a part in the cycle of Psychology. The list go on to included behavior, sensation, consciousness, emotions, learning , memory, language, development, personality, social psychology, disorders ,therapy and positive Psychology. Each chapter has a refresher at the end to allow you to answer the questions. What a good source of rehashing the information. Each chapter is very detailed to each topic, each chapter outlines the words, along with their definition on the same page. This allows you to see the word in its context, instead of going to the back of the book for the information. Well written for your enjoyment while learning at the same time.

This is a great book that introduces you to psychology. Reading this book AHEAD for my college level psychology course has truly helped me maintain a grade of A...so far. I highly recommend for people to purchase the ebook version because that COSTS HALF as much compared to the paperback (book) version. Even better than that, what I did was rent it for six months or 180 days because my psychology course lasts one semester which is 5 months. The best part is that I paid even less for that compared to purchasing the e book version. That means that I have saved a lot of money by not purchasing the traditional paperback version. I think I paid one fourth of the original cost. Anyways, who wants to break their backs with those heavy college books? Just get the ebook version, you'll save yourself from back pain and save a ton of money simultaneously.^_^

It's a textbook. I was made to buy it for school. Because of this, I've never actually opened it and have used it to prop up my iPad for binge watching the Golden Girls. It does work well for that purpose as it has enough bulk to balance the weight of the iPad. It's white color also matches my iPad well. Coordination is key!

good read, somewhat outdated.

The book was in very good condition. It even had helpful highlighting to aid in my studying! This book was more expensive but worth it.

I thought it was well written. I had to read it for school and that is not always enjoyable, but I loved being able to have it on my Ipad.

Got me through my psychology class and was actually pretty interesting! recommend.

Used this text to teach a summer intro class, I think it's fantastic. It has all the classic studies and a much updated repertoire of more recent ones, something that is lacking in many other texts I've encountered. I highly recommend!
